Y/N's journey through the maze

Part 24

After we had lunch we were all sent back to our rooms for a few hours to 'chill out' and 'relax'. Well the boys don't know the meaning of relaxing so they were being all rowdy like how they were back in the Glade. I just sat on Minho's top bunk by myself thinking about what happened in the cafeteria early and wondering why Teresa was having more tests and why Aris told me not to trust her. Newt could see that I was stressed so he came up onto Minho's bunk and sat next to me. Before he even asks me anything he kisses me. "What was that for?" I ask him. "What can I not kiss my beautiful girlfriend." He says whilst laughing. "Of course you can in fact I think you should do it more often, like every second of everyday." I tell him with a smile. "Don't you worry love that can be arranged." Newt says as he winks at me. I can't help but smile. "Your so beautiful when your smiling." He says as he traces his fingers over my lips. "Well it's a good thing I'm always smiling when I'm with you then isn't it." We kiss again and this time it was for longer and we could of kept going if we weren't interrupted by Chuck saying "Ewww sissy that's gross stop kissing him." I laugh and say "Buddy it's fine he's my boyfriend so we can kiss but you better not kiss any girls until I approve them, I can't have a random girl kissing my little brother now can I?" He shakes his head and goes back to the others.

The room isn't that big so I really don't know how they are messing about like that. It's got metal walls and is actually very ugly, the Glade was so much more prettier than this place. I kind of miss the Glade now but I'm just hoping that I can find somewhere for me and my family that is better then anything that we have seen before in our lives. The boys are being so loud and it's giving me a headache, "Can you shanks shut up please." I say to them. "Come on fiesty fancy a round?" Gally says to me. "You know I would beat you with my eyes closed eyebrows." I tease him. "Whatever you say." Gally says whilst rolling his eyes at me. I laugh. Newt and I have been cuddling for a while now but he sits up and says "Y/N I totally forgot about what you needed to tell us." "Right ok your going to need to prepare yourself for this part, so I went over to Aris and he knew my name as well. He told me to meet him in the vents tonight and not to trust Teresa." I tell him. "Why can't you trust Teresa? She is your sister." He asks. "I'm not sure but for some reason I believe him and trust him a lot more then I trust T right now. He knows something is going on here and he's going to help me find out what it is. I need to warn you as well Newt, if when I'm not with you at any point and Janson wants you, don't go with him whatever you do." "Y/N are you sure you can trust him?" Newt looks me in the eyes and I tell him, "Yes. He is my cousin after all." I smile when I say that he's my cousin, of course I don't know what it's like to have a cousin but I'm excited to find out. "We have to tell the others Y/N." Newt reminds me. I get up to go tell the others but a guard comes in and tells us all to go to the canteen for announcements.
