Part 15

The next morning I wake up and try to move from Newt without trying to wake up but then he says "Morning Shortie. How was your sleep?" "Sh!t sorry did I wake you?" I ask him. He replies with "No, I have been up for a while." "In that case then, good morning blondie." I put my arms around him and hug him. He stands up and helps me get up. "Come on shortie, you have to go and find a way out today." He says with a smile. He is right though, we need to find a way out and soon, the box still hasn't gone back down and I think we all know that it isn't going to. I am more determined then ever today to find a way out.

Newt and I head back to camp to get breakfast. I am greeted by Teresa who embraces me in a hug and says "Where were you last night, I was worried." "I fell asleep in the woods with um Newt." She looks me up and down and winks. "What!" I exclaim. "Oh nothing." She says with a little smirk. I push her in a joking kind of way and then I link arms with her and walk to breakfast. When I get to the table everyone hugs me like every morning. "How were your guys' sleep?" They all nod and then Minho says "I think Thomas and Teresa slept well seeing as I woke up and found them together." I turn to Teresa and then to Thomas "Oooooo looky at you two." I say laughing. I was sat next to Newt on one side of me and Teresa at the other side. Suddenly I felt a hand grab mine and I instantly knew who it was, it was Newt. I didn't let go and I looked over at him and smiled. "What are you guys smiling about?" Chuck asks. "Nothing Buddy." I say. "Okay sissy." Now that I know about Thomas and Teresa I feel like I can get closer to Newt wihtout upsetting anyone but that can wait, I need to focus on finding a way out. "Minho, Thomas we better go, we need to try and find a way out today." I look at the guys, we get up and go into the maze.
