It's been a few hours since the boys went into the maze and I can't wait until they come back so I can ask Minho if I can be a runner. Newt and I have just been hanging out in my tent but then we hear Chuck say "Guys they are back." I get up and run over to Chuck. Minho comes out of the maze whilst carrying Thomas. "Minho, what happened?" Newt says. "He just fainted so I got him and carried him out." We take him over to the med jacks to let him lie down. I hug Minho and say "I'm glad your okay at least." Thomas starts to wake up. "Thomas!" I say.
After Thomas wakes up we find out the reason he fainted was because he has low energy. Gally says "He's going to need to rest for tomorrow so Minho are you going to be okay going into the maze alone?" Minho shrugs. Newt says "Actually Y/N came up to me today and asked if she could be a runner." Thomas instantly sat up and said "No it's way to dangerous!" I look at him and say "I get your trying to look out for me but I really want to be a runner, if it's okay with Minho." Minho looks at Gally, Gally says "I mean she is very strong and I don't think she's going to take no for an answer." "Fine, you can be a runner." Minho says. "Thanks guys." I hug them all and then go back to find Chuck.
When I get to Chuck I say "Guess who's going to be a runner starting from tomorrow." He looks up and smiles slightly. "What's the matter buddy?" "It's just I don't want you to get hurt, you've been like my big sister since you've got here and the last person I got really close to, they became a runner and he got stung." Newt comes over and says "Are you talking about Ben, Chuck?" He nods. I hug Chuck and say "Don't worry Chuck, I will be very careful and I promise I will come back." He smiles and hugs me back. I can see Newt looking at us and I mouth 'thank you' to him, he smiles and mouths back to me 'your welcome' then he walks away.
