Hi, so before we began, I just want to say that I know I haven't mentioned Bo since, like, the second chapter, so he is probably only going to have something around two lines, and I'm sorry Bo but most of the reason I'm doing a Bo chapter is because I did a Sandor chapter and after this there will be a Ro chapter. Also I kinda just needed someone's POV. Anyway, hope you enjoy the story!
Bo stared at his group, huddled around and examining their find. He had a very strong feeling that they had forgotten he was supposed to be with them. Oh well. Soon, curiosity overcame him and he revealed himself.
"What is that?" he asked. The sounds that came out of them were at the very least hilarious. Wylie yelped. Marella squealed. Linh gasped so loudly it echoed throughout the space.
"FORGOT ABOUT ME HUH??" he said very loudly.
"Um-well-yes," Linh stammered. Bo just laughed. Marella glared. Wylie sighed.
"We found an envelope, that we were about to open before SOMEONE scared the Prattles out of us." Marella told him.
Bo smirked. "Good thing I did because now I can see what's in there." This time everyone sighed. Marella stuck her finger under the opening in the flap of the envelope and slid it along until the flap was able to be lifted.
"That's how you open envelopes? What about paper cuts?" Wylie asked. Marella scowled at him.
"Want to see what's in it or not?" she asked him.
"Sorry, sorry." Wylie mumbled. Linh took the envelope from Marella and lifted up the flap. Marella, Wylie, and Linh gasped.
"What's so alarming? It's just glittery blue dust." Bo said.
"That 'glittery blue dust' is one of the things needed to make temporary leaping crystals! And blue dust means that the leaping crystal would lead to a Forbidden City!" Linh snapped, but her heart wasn't in it. "Keefe must mean for us to make one that'll leap us to where he is!" she clarified when Bo just blinked.
"Um. Yay?" he replied, not sure what to say. Linh rolled her eyes.
"Temporary leaping crystals need, like, three facet angles and all the one's I've seen have beads." Linh started to feel around in the hidden compartment where Marella had found the powder.
"I like his gulon symbol." Wylie said.
"Yeah it's very fitting for a symbol that he would have." Marella argeed.
Linh withdrew her arm and sighed. "Nothing." she said, frowning. At that moment, her Imparter went off with a call from Sophie. She answered it.
"Everything okay?" Marella asked, craning her head to see better.
"Better than okay!" Sophie said. "We found something!"
"Oh, we found something too!" Wylie told her.
"Why didn't you call me?" She wondered, frowning.
"Blame Bo," Linh replied. "He scared the Prattles out of us, and we kind of forgot everything else."
Sophie rolled her eyes. "Seriously Bo?" He just smirked. She sighed. "We're at Havenfield, so meet us back here okay? And do you mind telling the other group?"
"You mean Team Awesome?" Marella asked.
"Yeah. That."
"No problem, see you there!" Wylie said.
"Bye," Sophie replied, waving as she went to click away. "And Bo, don't scare them again!"
"But seriously, don't." Wylie told him after the call had ended.
"We'll see," Bo said, smirking again. "We'll see."
