My head hurt. My body ached. My throat was sore. I felt as if I was paralysed. My vision was blurry. I looked around. It was now in the afternoon. I was still in the forest. I didn't remember what had happened. I looked around for Liam and Olivia. I couldn't see them. I couldn't even see the lake anymore. I guess I got dragged away. The mountain where the Queen waited for me still stood. It looked beautiful when we were still afar but a bit closer, you can see some of the trees were dying. Something smelt like it was rotting. Did the Aldershot siblings drag me here? Also and more importantly, where were they? Did they think that this mission was not worth losing their lives? I couldn't blame them. I'm still confused about all of this. But one thing was certain. I had to complete this mission, with or without the Adler siblings. I voyage on. I immediately stopped when I heard some hissing. Then a cobra came from the bushes. I screamed my lungs out. I hated snaked. I ran up to the nearest tree and tried to climb it. "Would you pleasssse sssstop that. You're embarrasssssing  yoursssself", the snake said. "How can I not be scared of you", I said, still screaming. "How will you deal with the Queen if you're ssssstill ssssscared of me", the cobra asked. I stopped at my attempt of climbing the tree. "How do you know about that", I asked. "Oh. We ssssnakesss know a lot of thingssss", the snakes said proudly. "How should I trust you", I asked in what sounded like a stern voice. "You don't have to", the cobra said. "You want to know where your friends are, yesss", the snake asked. "Who are you", I asked, squinting my eyes at the snake. "Rude child. You do not ansssswer a question with another question", the snake said slithering away. "Wait", I stopped the snake. It stopped and looked at me. "I want to know where my friends are", I asked. The snake's smile creeps me out. It looked so human. I could see its fangs. "Your friendsssss decided to go on without you", the snake replied. What?! How could they? "Did you hear as to why", I asked. "Do I look like I have earssss", th snake asked. I didn't know how to reply. "I'm jussst kidding. You're sssssoo ssssserioussss", the snake said. I pretended to chuckle. "They thought that you're jeopardise the mission", my heart broke. I knew I could danger the mission but I didn't think they'd go to this extent and leave me behind. That evil witch destroyed my life. I had every right to kill her with my bare hands. "And there was still annoying man who kept on shouting rubbish", the snake snapped me out of my thoughts. "Man", I asked. "Yessss. He wore glasssssesss and had your eyessss", he described. DAD! "Where did they take him? Who took him", I asked. "I don't know and I don't care", the snake retorted. "Well I do, you stupid snake", I shouted. The snake bared its fangs. I stepped back to my tree. "Go to the mountain and see for yoursssself", he instructed. I looked at the top of the mountain. Where will I start. It'll take me a long time. The snake looked at where I was looking. "Not there, you idiot", he said. Oh sure, he can call me an idiot but I can't. I gave him a confused expression. "Go to the bassssee of the mountain. And from there, everything will make sense. Just go North", he said. He started to look around. "I have said too much. You musssst go quickly and sssssucceed before they arrive", he said, starting to slither away. I looked at the sky. The sun has set. "Wait. Why did you help me", I asked. The snake stopped. "Let's just say it's because I hate eating dead rats. I like to hunt for them mysssself", he said and slithered from where he came from. I heard a wolf howling from a distance. I didn't have my tent. I only had my bow and quiver. And I didn't have enough arrows to spare. I had to survive this in order to kill the person who caused all of this. Then I save my friends. More importantly, Dad.
