Remember when I said I wasn't being a coward, just bring reasonable? Well maybe I was wrong. As soon as I heard phone ring, I ended the call. I didn't know where to start. What to tell her. I can't just say 'Hey Mom. I know you're worried but I'm actually fine. I'm just on my way to go hunt for an evil Queen... yeah the one who transferred her essence into me. And I'll have to fight her army to get to her. Oh and by the way, I missed your pancakes. Bye.' Just horrible. I didn't want to add any stress to her. I just needed her to know that I ran away from camp. I wanted to call her when I've already completed this mission. Comfort her with good news.  Not kill her with bad news
And poor Phoebe. Witnessing Mom in distress mode. No matter how scared I was, I had to do this for them. I have to new brave for them. So maybe sacrifices were made. I cannot let them go in vain.

I stated outside for a few minutes then decided to go in the cabin. I saw Olivia packing some supplies. I guess preparing for tomorrow's trip of death. I went to go look for Liam. He was in his room, packing some medical supplies. His spatha lied on the floor. I never thought I'd get to see that. I went to go look for Dad. He was probably salting the cabin since the sun is set. I couldn't find him. I went back to Olivia and asked where he was. "He left about an hour ago", she responded, not stopping what she was doing. My heart sank. I didn't even get a chance to say goodbye to him. Give him a last hug. "But don't worry. He went to a more secure place we found for him. He'll be fine. Right now we have to worry about ourselves". "What do you mean", I asked. "Well your Dad went with the salt so we don't have any means of protection. But we are leaving tomorrow so it's best we start early anyway". When I looked out the door, the sun had already set.

I ran to my room and did as Olivia told me to do. I packed sone supplies and back up clothes. I took a tent from the closet. I found Dad's pocket knife, I thought I might as well. So I took that too. I wore the usual. Black T-shirt, black jeans, aviator jacket and my lovely combat boots. After I was done, I ran to The Adler siblings outside. "Took you long enough", Liam said, rolling his eyes. "Everything set", asked Olivia. I nodded. Liam started leading the way. I looked at the cabin for one last time, and followed Liam deeper into the forest.

I regretted not sleeping. It hadn't even been ten minutes and I felt sleepy. I was snapped awake by the voice of Commander Zogark. He was shouting at his troops. Probably pissed about finding no one in the cabin. "Hey, do you guys know where we need to go", I asked. "Of course we do. We just gotta get out of here before the monsters spot us. In the morning, we'll try to find the fastest route to Masoumeh's tomb", Liam explained. "Why does she have a tomb if she's immortal", I asked. "Well her worshippers thought that she was dead", Olivia replied. I too would've been angry if I woke up in a tomb. Liam yawned and so did I. "Maybe we should set up camp", Olivia suggested. "No way. We'll get caught I-", Liam yawned. "I don't mind setting up camp. I even bought a tent". Liam grunted then finally agreed.
