Great. First time I've ever been to a Summer Camp and I arrived late, met a weird guy, got involved in a food fight then I get blamed for it.  Unbelievable. Why did Mom even sign me up here. All the campers had to clean the mess hall. And we werent allowed to have dinner. The campers looked at me with distaste. Even the ones who were younger than me. Honestly, the disrespect in this place. The counsellors were called in for a quick meeting. Probably discussing about the way we behaved. After the mess hall was spotless, Stephanie and I had to go to the girls' bathrooms to clean it. When we got there, I expected a bathroom that was dirty. Toilets not flushed, algae growing in the shower area and a bit of skunks. But it was actually clean. It just needed a little scrubbing that's all. I got the two buckets and mops. I gave Stephanie a bucket and a mop. But she just looked it as if she was going to puke in the bucket. "If you think I'm moping these floors, then think again", she said, buffing her nails. I wanted to whack her with the mop. "This is our punishment. In actual fact, you're the one who got us in this mess in the first place", I retorted. "Well I wouldn't have done that if you didn't steal my spot", Stephanie replied, her gaze not meeting mine. "I didn't take your bloody spot. They voted for me. I didn't ask to be a... whatever it is", I told her. The volume of my voice was loud. "It's a CIT. And listen to me you little piece of trash", she said, her expression dark. She stepped a bit closer to me. She was taller than my by an inch or so. "It don't like you. Not even one bit. If you ever get in my way again, I will make your life a living hell. My daddy is a powerful man. And he has powerful friends. I will crush you. Understood", she asked poking her finger on my chest. It hurt. I couldn't say anything. My blood was boiling. I wanted to give her a swirlie she won't forget. But I couldn't find the energy to do it. "I said, am I understood. Nod for yes and shake your head for no. Seeing that your pea brain doesn't understand a simple question", Stephanie laughed. I nodded. "Good", she said smirking before flicking her hair in my face and sashayed away, leaving me to mop the floors alone.

When I was done it was already 19:43. But it was really dark outside because of the clouds. Looks like there was going to be a storm. I went to the Wolf cabin and saw that everyone was there. Including Olivia. She gave me a sympathetic smile as I sat on my bed. "So since we're all here, we can get started", Olivia began. I saw Ethanol chewing gum next to me and offered me one. I kindly declined. "So first things first, you guys have to choose the activities you want to participate in. You can do all of them. The maximum is five. You'll be given a schedule as to when you have to wake up, shower and the times you need to arrive at the mess hall", Olivia explained. But I only paid half attention to her. I was looking at Liam. He looked like he doesn't have any purpose here. Actually in life on general. I wonder what's going on in his head. I guess Olivia noticed I was staring because she snapped her fingers and said "You got that, Blaire?". "Yeah, yeah. Five activities, schedules. Got it". Stephanie snickered with Aurora. I almost threw my pillow at her. It started raining. I loved the rain. But I hoped it doesn't rain tomorrow. "And guys don't get angry at me but I'll have to take your phone's away. Camp's policy", she told us as she pointed at a safe at the back of the cabin. How did I not noticed this. The campers whined. And it eventually clicked in my head. "Don't forget to write to me when you get there". Mom knew about the no cellphone policy. And she didn't bother telling me about it. "Hand them over", Olivia stretched out her hands. Everyone sighed. Olivia came around taking our phones. "No candy allowed, Ethan", Olivia told Ethan as she took his phone "Aww man". "You can't take my phone away", said Stephanie. Olivia rolled her eyes and sighed. "And why is that, Stephanie". You could see that she didn't have tone for this. " 'Cause daddy isn't going to like it", Stephanie replied as if that was the best comeback ever. "Your dad wouldn't have sent you here if you didn't want to abide to the rules", Olivia told her. "Yeah. He sent her here because he needed to breathe for once", said Xavier. Everyone laugh besides Liam, of course. Stephanie gritted her teeth and gave Olivia her phone. "Finally. And don't worry guys", Olivia put our phones in the safe ,"Your phones are safe here", she tapped the safe. "So if I were you guys, I'd better get some shut eye. Tomorrow is going to be a busy day", Olivia told us, stretching. I layed in bed with my boots on. I didn't bother changing into my jammies. I just wanted to sleep. I couldn't wait for Archery tomorrow. "Alright campers. Lights out".
