What am I doing on a tree you may ask? Well what would you do if you were minding your own business then you hear growling sounds from behind then you get ambushed by things that looked like werewolves in the middle of the night, your body feeling like a sack of potatoes and your legs couldn't function properly. I had to think on my feet. After the discussion I had with the cobra, I marched North, heading to the mountain. The stench of decay got stronger. The closer I got to the mountain, my body felt weak, I felt dizzy. I didn't know how I was able to walk. I pushed through the pain. Messing with my mind was one thing. Kidnapping my dad was another thing. I wondered if Liam and Olivia were able to make it to the tomb. And if they did, what happened when the encountered her. The anger fueled me. I haven't eaten for almost 2 days but I wasn't hungry. The sky was getting dark. The stars started to appear and so did the moon, my only source of light. It was beautiful. But I couldn't stop to admire. I was running out of time. I had about 3 more days left. My heart still ached. Why would Olivia leave me out in the forest, all alone. With Liam, he would've done that days ago. But Olivia, she wouldn't. She was like an older sister to me. I trusted her with my life. I know she was only doing it for my own good but it hurt me. Like someone was driving a dagger right through my heart. Funny. Olivia uses a dagger. Then I stopped. What's the point. I've been lied to my whole life. Then I've been told about a week ago that I have powers that an evil witch transfer to me and she wants them back. And I learn the fact that... I was the one who caused me parents to get divorced. Then hurt me more than being betrayed. I fell to my knees and started crying. The cobra was right. How was I going to face Masoumeh in this state. I stayed there for a few minutes or so then I hears her. Crying is a natural thing to happen. But you must take action. Since when she gives out motivational speeches. They have wronged you. They have broken your soul. They lied to you. "No no no! I won't listen to you! You're the reason why my friends left me", I yelled, closing my ears but that didn't help at all. Do you really think that's the reason? Dear child, they left you because they saw you as a burden. They think you're a burden. Why do you think you mother sent you my way? Why did she send me here? I've been asking myself this question for days. "She... she didn't know what she was getting me into", I replied. I was not confident about my response. Of course you wouldn't know. They keep secrets from you. Why did your father leave you before you left for this quest? He knew how dangerous it was. Goes to show that he never cared. Didn't bother to visit you. Not even once after the divorce. My heart hurt even more. When I tried to stand up, my knees buckled and fell to the ground again. Tears rolled down my cheeks steaming hot. But with me, you'll be respected. You'll be loved. You're more powerful than you ever know. You- "Stop! Just stop it! They kept secrets from me to protect me from harm. You're just lying to me so you can use me. I have your powers! You energy! A potion of your life force. And I'll use it to defeat you, Masoumeh Tavakoli! You hear me! You'll perish", I yelled. I found the energy to get up again. I stopped up straight. Confident. Ready at anything goes that would be thrown at me. She went quiet. That scared me a bit but I still stood my ground. Very well. Just know that you've made a huge mistake. I heard you've always wanted a dog. Well, I will send two right away. With that, two werewolves jumped out of nowhere. They looked ten ft tall. They stood on their hind legs. Their teeth were sparkling white and sharp. Their eyes glowed a golden colour. Last chance, Levesque. Join me. Or die a horrible death. "I'll never join you, witch", I said, loading an arrow. You've made a grave mistake. I tried helping you. Now you die, foolish girl. Goodbye, Blaire Levesque. As if my name was a trigger word, the wolves attacked. I quickly dodged. I let loose of my first arrow. It bounced harmlessly off the wolf's arm. Well, plan B. Run. Good thing I had long feet. But the wolves were fast too. I quickly got tired. Probably the Queen's doing. I couldn't run any longer. Then I saw a tree up ahead. I quickly climbed up the tree. I looked down and saw the wolve's attempt to to climb up but failed. I stuck kyle tongue out and laughed at them. So I'll have to wait up here all night long. I didn't mind. I didn't want to die. Then one of them howled. A few minutes later, some creatures came along. Great. Ten one of them spoke. "Get down Blaire Levesque. And the Queen may show you mercy", wonderful. Commander Zogark is here. I wanted to shoot an arrow at him. Then I remembered that I didn't have enough arrows left. "I'll never get down", I shouted. Zogark ordered his minions to do something. Then I saw one of them holding up a battle ax. They were going to cut down the tree.
