10. The War

"I think you need to stop getting into fights Steve." I say handing him a tissue for his nose.

"I think you need to tell me when did you know how to fight." he jokes

I laugh as I remember beating the guys ass, I saw him beating Steve up behind another alley. I walk over to him and kick him to the ground before elbowing him in the back before he ran away.

"Sometimes I think you liked getting punched." My eyes light up at the familiar voice that I haven't heard in two months before I turn around. I go to hug him, but what he is wearing stops me. He is wearing an Army uniform. The army uniform...

"Bucky! your back!" Steve says happily.

Bucky smirks. He looks different, more muscles then before and he stand more stiff almost like a soldier. He is a soldier.

"You got your orders..." My voice comes out weak almost, it was meant to come out as a question but it didn't.

"The 1-0-7th, Sergeant James Barnes." He Smirk as if he is introducing himself. "Shipping out to England first thing tomorrow."

"Tomorrow but you just got back." Steve said with a bit of sadness in his voice.

"C'mon man!" Bucky puts am arm around me and Steve. "Its my last night tonight and I found dates for us. so you need to be prettier then usual, alright Nicki."

"Nicki? And dates?" I says think how Bucky just gave me me a nickname for my nickname.

"Oh sorry, they guys at camp called you Nicki When I told them about you." He said

"you told the camp people about me?" I say smiling and tilting my head.

"I had nothing else to talk about" He shrugs "And yes I got a nice Dame for you Steve. He really needs to talk to other Women and people in general other then you."

I giggle at those words.

"Who's the guy you got for me? a friend from camp?" I say slightly concerned.

"Well he handsome and oh- wait surprise its me I'm your date Nicki." he grins and I forgot to breathe for a few seconds, falling speechless. Its the first time that he calls hanging out with me a date.

"Where are we going" Steve ask snapping me out of my thoughts. Bucky's smirk just widens.

"Its started!" Bucky shouts happily. He take me by the hand and drags me near the stage. Steve and his date follow closely behind.

"Ladies and gentlemen, Howard Stark!" A woman introdues a bruntte man with a unique mustache who pulls the  announcer into a kiss as he backs she goes to the other tightly dressed girls.

"I love you, Howard!" a female voice yell from the crowd, making him grin while he wipes the red lip stick off.

"ladies and gentlemen, what i i told you that in a few short years, your automobile wont even have to touch the ground." a few girl take the wheels off the automobile. "yes thanks Mandy. With Stark technology, you be able to do just that.

Howard turns on the machine and the car starts hovering above the ground. I turn to says something to Steve but he is not there. All I see is his date with a look of disgust on her face.

I look back up to Bucky "Steve's gone. I bet he is in the recruitment center."

"That Punk." Bucky looks around " C'mon let go find him."
