Walking back home from Austria to Italy is not something I thought of, but we didn't have a choice since the transponder got damaged. Three days have passed and we were all tired and hungry. I was the only girl in those 200 men. Most of them were injured but I tried my best to help. We had to live off nature which wasn't so bad I knew what berries were good so we were all okay. In the nights, I used my powers to start a fire. Nobody seemed alarmed by them. Except Bucky. He was different now he wasn't talking as much.
"I hope we're going the right way." Steve sighed next me me everyone else walking behind us. "This is the right way, right?"
"I don't know the map was burned I think I remember the way though." I reply "Bucky... are you alright?"
"Hm?" He blink and looks at me. He has been so quiet its not like him. "Yea, I could just use a shower."
"I think we all could." Steve said looking behind him.
"We should arrive soon. Three days of walking should do it" I said
Dugan Walks up to us. "Do you guys know where we going?"
"We are just deciding if we would like to go to Italy or stop by France." I say with sarcasm.
Dugan laughed and shook his head. "I understand why your Bucky's girl. Not everyone would be that insane to go against Hydra Almost alone!"
Bucky shot me a look when Dugan Said 'Bucky's Girl' with a worried and sorry look in his eyes. I smile slightly a shake my head saying it was okay with my smile. "Thanks." I say with a forced Smirk. "I just love going against the leader of a German terror group.'
"We've arrived!" I heard someone say. I look forward and see the familiar tents of the camp site. I smile.
"Looks who's alive." Howards walk towards me with Peggy. He grins.
"We all thought you were dead." Peggy says facing Steve.
"I couldn't call my ride." He says smirking as he lift up the broken transponder.
Colonel Philips was approaching us with the same stern look on his face. "Some of them need medical examination. I'd like to surrender myself for disciplinary action." Steve says standing straight.
"Me, too." I stand like Steve, it was weird I said to my self that I was never going to do it again.
"That wont be necessary." He looks at us with a slight smile but I vanishes faster then I came.
"Hey!" Bucky suddenly calls out. "Let's hear it for Captain America And Viper!"
A loud and cheerful applause fills the air. Steve's and my operation name flies threw the air. I'm still not use it, but I just smile. Bucky Claps the loudest, but I notice how his proud smile soon turns into sadness.
