11. The Training

The Car to take me to my new training ward was outside waiting for me.

"Come back soon." Steve said

"I know, be safe in the camp, okay." I say

We hug as before I get in the car. The trip was long and i fell asleep on the way all i remember was the medows and grasslands.

I woke up to the car being rocked side to side on the dirt. i woke up yawning and streching.

I look out side the window to see a pretty young lady smiling at me.

I got out of the car and greeted her. "Hello."

"Hello Miss Beckett i am agent Carter but you can call me Peggy, im here to help you find your ways before im deported." Her british accent takes me by surprise.

"well thank you, Peggy." I reply.

"If you would follow me." She gestured for me to follow her and i do.

She walk across the street into a small libary, she went to the back and pressed in a code and a wall opened up infrount of her.

She walked inside and i followed. we walked into a hallway with some guards and scintist some one them stopped to look at me as i walked by. The light got weaker and they air a bit muggy.

Peggy lead me into a room at the end of the hallway.

"If I may ask who is the leader?" i say

"well he is currenlty deported so you have his assistant, doint worry he may be be smarter then his boss." Peggy smiles at me as she opens the opens.

I hear the chatter in to room stop as al the eyes look at me. i feel a bit uncomfortable, and i just follow Peggy.

"Thats the thing you want to experiment on that gorgeous dame?" His words sound familar and his face reminds of someone.

"Miss Beckett, this is Howard Stark the leader of and investor of Project Rebirth for now." Peggy says as she walks away.

"Miss Beckett, its a pleasure to met you." Howard says as he shakes my hand.

"Hows your automobile going." I smirk knowing it crashed.

"Fan of my work hey." He smiles and he lets go of my hand.

"Shut up Howard!" Peggy yells as she leaves the room.

"So Nicole are you ready for training?" he asks rubbing his hands together.

"Please call me Nick." I say correcting him "and yes lets begin."

Over the next 2 Months I was trained in hand to hand combat, I learnt how to speak German, Russian and French and I had numerous blood tests. I had manged to identify 78% of weapons, and I knew how to work them. I had to train every night for 3 hours on diffrent subjects. it was like being in school again.

I Also began to build a friendship with Howard. Despite his annoyance he was a funny guy.

"Nick, Today you will be train to fight with General Trang." Howard said as she walkd in the room.

"oh great more fighting.." I said with sarcasm.

A man in a uniform walked in the room he was in his middle 30s or 40s .

"Miss. Beckett." He said standing stiff

"General." I relpied.

"Today im going to text your combat skills." He said almost as if it was an order.

i rasied my fists up ready to fight.

He raised his and we begun fighting. He tried to punch me in the face but i block him with my arms. i kick him in the shin and he fell on one knee i then kick him back causing him to fall on the ground.

He look at Stark in shock "You said she was learning." He said with anger in his voice. 

"Yea i think she is." Howards says witha hint of saracasm.

The Genreal sigh and roll his eyes.

We countuine to train for a good few hours. but the end of it, i'm almost drowning in sweat i breathe heavily and my breathes are short.

"Nick!" Howard yells as he runs up to me.

I turn around to see what he wants.

"Get some rest tomorrow we are going to start Project Rebirth."
