Wonho's POV...

"Hey, big brother, what's the special occasion this time that you had to have the whole family gather here for yet another calamitous dinner?" Hye-soo inquired the moment Amber and I crossed the threshold of our parents' house. Standing at the entrance of the foyer, she exuded elegance in a stunning purple cocktail dress adorned with delicate gold flecks that gracefully embraced her slender waist. Around her neck, she proudly wore the heart-shaped necklace I had gifted her on her birthday last year, complemented by a pair of dangling heart earrings that swayed gently with her every movement.

"You'll discover the reason simultaneously with the rest of the family when we make the announcement," I responded, embracing Amber tightly by my side.

"Ugh, could you two please tone down the lovey-dovey act, or at least save it for when you're alone in the privacy of your own home?" Min-san interjected, descending the staircase. Like Hye-soo, she looked impeccable in a vibrant red button-down blouse, paired with a knee-length black skirt and elegant red stilettos. Her lustrous black hair was neatly tucked behind her ears, revealing a pair of silver dolphin earrings that gracefully dangled.

"And why should they do that? It's not like they're doing anything wrong, and I'm pretty sure you've witnessed far worse with Mom and Dad," Hye-soo retorted, her voice tinged with annoyance.

"Oh, come on, Hye-soo, can't I tease our big brother a little without you getting all worked up for once?" Min-san countered, rolling her eyes.

"Tonight, I need both of you to behave," I interjected hastily, sensing the direction this conversation was taking.

"I will if she does," Hye-soo retorted before making her way towards the kitchen.

"Why do we have to dress up just to go out for dinner?" Min-san questioned, turning her attention to me.

"Just like I told Hye-soo, you'll have to wait until we announce it to the entire family during dinner," I replied.

"Are you feeling alright? I'm asking because you don't seem yourself," Min-san expressed her concern, directing her gaze towards Amber. It was evident that I wasn't the only one who had noticed Amber's appearance. The only difference was that I knew the reason behind it, while they remained unaware.

Amber's pregnancy journey had taken a toll on her, especially with the relentless morning sickness that had plagued her for the past couple of days. It had been so severe that it genuinely frightened me, prompting me to beg her to postpone our dinner plans until she felt better. But true to her stubborn nature, she adamantly refused.

"I'm feeling alright," Amber weakly replied, forcing a smile on her face.

"Big brother, she's not being honest," Min-san blurted out, immediately darting after Hye-soo.

"Are you sure you're up for this?" I questioned, turning to face her.

"I'll be fine once I have something to eat," Amber responded, tugging me towards the kitchen.

“There goes my favorite daughter-in-law.” I hear my mom sing into the air excitedly.

"Mom, she's your only daughter-in-law," Min-san muttered sarcastically under his breath.

"You always look beautiful whenever I see you, but today, there's something about you that's radiant, like the sun," my dad complimented Amber.

"Thank you," Amber graciously replied.

"What's all this commotion?" Grandma questioned as she and Grandpa entered the kitchen. "Oh, they're making all this noise because of you," she sneered, casting a disdainful glance at Amber.
