Wonho's POV...

As soon as the plane touched down in Seoul, South Korea, a swarm of news reporters eagerly awaited my exit from the airport. Their cameras flashed incessantly, and a barrage of questions about the woman I had met in Vegas bombarded me. Amidst the chaotic scene, my two sisters stood with a group of guards, their concerned expressions evident.

"You're in deep trouble," Min-san warned me as soon as I stepped into the all-black SUV. I chose to ignore her remark, fixating my gaze out the window, pondering what Amber might be doing at that very moment. I wondered if she would miss me even a little, or if I had already faded from her thoughts.

"What possessed you to marry a foreigner?" Min-san interrogated, her glare piercing through me.

"Min-san, do you ever tire of constantly nagging our older brother?" Hye-soo muttered under her breath, gently squeezing my hand. "He has enough on his plate to worry about when he reunites with the rest of the family, don't you think? Besides, he doesn't owe either of us an explanation," Hye-soo added as the driver halted at a red light.

Just as the traffic light turned green, a notification chimed from my phone inside my jacket pocket. A wide grin spread across my face as I saw a text from Amber appear on my screen. I swiftly unlocked my phone, eager to read her message.

"I wanted to let you know that I've arrived home safely, and I hope your journey back was smooth," her message read.

"Thank you for informing me, and I've safely landed in Seoul, South Korea," I replied to Amber's text before returning my phone to my pocket. Both of my sisters stared at me, curiosity evident in their eyes. While I knew Hye-soo would never pry into my personal life, Min-san was an entirely different story.

"So, when do we get to meet this mysterious wife of yours?" Min-san blurted out, breaking the silence.

"Soon enough," I responded, leaning my head back against the headrest.

"Ugh... sometimes your nosiness really gets on my nerves," Hye-soo snapped at Min-san.

"Our older brother's affairs concern me as well," Min-san retorted. I sat there, half-listening to their ongoing argument, my mind drifting back to Amber and our dinner date. I couldn't quite comprehend why I felt such contentment, as if I could spend the rest of my life right there with her. If given the chance, I would have frozen time in that very moment, just to admire her beautiful face a little while longer.

"Be prepared to face the consequences of your actions, because Grandma and Grandpa will surely be waiting on the other side of that door, with Mom and Dad not far behind," Min-san warned me as the SUV came to a halt in front of my parents' house. I stepped out of the vehicle, slowly running my hands over my face before following Hye-soo and Min-san towards the front door.

"Explain this mess you've caused right this instant!" My grandmother sneered, forcefully shoving a news article into my hand. In bold, attention-grabbing letters, the headline read, "Lee Fashion Empire Heir Caught in Love Triangle."

"It's not what it seems," I declared to everyone, placing the paper on the coffee table as I entered the living room.

"So, you're trying to tell us that's not you on the front page, carrying a woman out of a church while she's dressed in a wedding gown meant for another man?" Grandpa asked, his voice surprisingly calm amidst the tension.

"Yes, that's me," I admitted.

"Why were you carrying someone else's fiancée out of a church?" Mom questioned, a mix of anger and concern evident in her tone.

"Because she's not someone else's wife. She's mine!" I spoke with a newfound sense of pride. "None of this is her fault. She had no idea she was already married. We've been married for a year without her knowledge," I hurriedly explained, wanting to defend Amber before my family started making false assumptions.

"How on earth can someone not know they're married?" My grandmother demanded, stepping closer to me.

"We were both heavily intoxicated at the time it happened. When I woke up the next morning, I left her sleeping in the hotel room after learning about our unexpected union from a hotel employee. I returned home without saying a word to Amber. Yesterday was the first time she learned anything about me or our marriage," I replied, determined not to falter under her icy gaze.

My father's hands firmly gripped my shoulders, his eyes locking with mine as he questioned, "So, is that the reason behind your refusal to marry Yun Nara and the sudden end to our dinner?"

I nodded, my voice steady as I replied, "Yes."

Hye-soo, always the empathetic one, leaned forward, her eyes filled with genuine concern. "How do you truly feel about her?"

Before I could answer, Grandma's voice cut through the air like a sharp blade, her words laced with venom. "His feelings are irrelevant! He must sever ties with this wretched woman!"

My blood boiled, a surge of protectiveness for my wife coursing through my veins. How dare she disrespect her and demand such a drastic action? "I will do no such thing unless it is what Amber wants," I declared firmly, my voice resonating with unwavering resolve. Without another word, I turned on my heel and walked out of the front door, leaving them all in stunned silence.
