Wonho's POV...

I felt a wave of nerves wash over me as Amber and I sat on our private jet, en route to Las Vegas to meet her parents. She appeared calm and content, radiating happiness. Or so I thought, until I heard her sudden outburst, screaming, "No, no, no!"

"What's wrong, Amber?" I asked, closing my laptop and placing it on the seat across from us.

"No, that's not right!" she exclaimed, her voice filled with distress.

"What's not right, honey?" I pleaded, gently turning her face towards mine.

"That's not why I married you," she said, her voice trembling with sniffles.

I snatched the newspaper from her grasp, fixating my gaze on the prominent headline that screamed, "Mrs. Amber Law-Lee's Calculated Pregnancy to Secure a Wealthy Suitor, Mr. Lee Wonho, in Seoul, South Korea." As I absorbed the fabricated headline in the newspaper, a surge of anguish coursed through me, realizing the immense pain my wife was enduring once again, all because of my actions. Swallowing my own emotions, I gathered my composure and pressed on, determined to read the rest of the article. "In a shocking turn of events, Mrs. Lee manipulated her current spouse into a hasty marriage, leaving behind her former fiancé, Mr. Dominic Castillo, heir to the esteemed Castillo family of Las Vegas, Nevada. The Castillos, renowned for their opulent hotels and global casino empire called Mystic Getaways, expressed their anguish over their son's heartbreak and subsequent descent into despair.

Desperately, I reached out to Amber, my voice filled with sincerity. "Amber, we both know that the circumstances surrounding our marriage are not as they appear. They beyond the twisted narratives they're trying to spin," I pleaded, hoping against hope that my words would break through the walls she had erected. Yet, it felt as though my heartfelt confession was lost in the void, unheard and unacknowledged.

"What will my family and friends think about our marriage when they read this if they haven't done so already." She hedged on.

"Darling, the opinions of others should never define the strength of our bond. What truly matters is that we know the truth and are committed to navigating this journey together," I whispered, gently placing the newspaper atop my laptop. Pulling Amber onto my lap, I held her tightly as tears streamed down her face, soothing her until she found solace in sleep.

As we faced one hurdle after another, it felt as though the world conspired to create even greater obstacles, determined to disrupt our peace. I clung tightly to my wife as if she might vanish into thin air at any moment. After we arrived in Las Vegas, I made a pit stop to grab a meal before we retreated to our penthouse suite. The weight of the world seemed to dissipate as we savored the quiet moments, finding solace in each other's presence.

~Time Skip~ The Next Day

I rose from my workstation, feeling the tension in my muscles from hours of focused work. Stretching my arms above my head, I decided to take a break and stepped out of the study. As I descended the stairs, thoughts of rescheduling our dinner with Amber's family crossed my mind. The long plane ride must have taken a toll on her, evident from her exhaustion last night when she slept soundly in my embrace.

Lost in my thoughts, I was suddenly captivated by the sight of my stunning wife descending the stairs. She looked effortlessly elegant, dressed in a pair of beige slacks that accentuated her curves, a pristine white silk blouse, and sleek black pumps. Her luscious curls cascaded over her shoulders, and the glossy pink lip gloss she wore drew my attention to her irresistibly plump and soft lips.

"Good morning, hubby," she greeted me with a warm smile.

Glancing at my watch, I chuckled and replied, "Good afternoon, honey."
