Wonho's POV...

Over the course of the past three months, my mother, father, and grandmother have persistently badgered me about tying the knot. Little did they know I had already taken the plunge a whole year ago. Mrs. Amber Law-Lee, my wife, was someone I knew more intimately than anyone else in my life. Lau, my best friend, would often update me on her whereabouts whenever he visited his parents back in his hometown.

I can sense your curiosity as to why I haven't initiated divorce proceedings. Frankly, even I am unsure of the answer to that question. All I can say is that whenever the thought crossed my mind, I would instinctively reach for my phone and gaze at the photograph I captured of her on the day I left her peacefully slumbering alone in a Las Vegas hotel room. The sight of her image always possessed a mystical power over me, compelling me to reconsider granting Amber the freedom she deserves.

There was something about this woman that always managed to shake my confidence. Her presence lingered in my mind, even in the depths of my dreams. Many nights, I would find myself tormented by vivid and passionate visions of her lying beside me. These dreams were so intense and provocative that they would jolt me awake, forcing me to seek solace in a cold shower to regain composure.

"Good morning, Oppa," Min-san greeted me, abruptly interrupting my thoughts of my enigmatic wife. My sister was a vision of allure, as always, dressed to impress in a vibrant yellow silk blouse, paired with dark blue skinny-leg jeans and stylish yellow pumps with a touch of blue on the toe. Her hair was elegantly pulled back into a loose ponytail, and sterling silver moon-shaped earrings dangled gracefully from her ears.

"Hey there, little sis. what is our parents bugging you to relay to me now?" I inquired as Min-san settled into the plush black leather seat across from me. Ever since they tried to set me up on a disastrous blind date, I've been doing my best to avoid any encounters with our parents and grandparents.

"Why do you automatically assume that I'm here because of them?" Min-san questioned.

Standing from my desk, I made my way to a comfortable black leather sofa next to the floor-to-ceiling windows. "Well, isn't that the usual reason for your visits?" I asked after taking a seat.

"Yeah but not this time. Hye-soo and I just wanted to hang out with our big brother, like we used to before you headed off to college in Las Vegas," Min-san replies a little bit too quickly.

"Yeah, but not this time. Hye-soo and I just wanted to hang out with our big brother, like we used to before you headed off to college in Las Vegas." Although her words seemed genuine, a lingering suspicion crept into my mind, suggesting that there might be more to their sudden desire to spend time with me. "Don't you miss hanging out with Hye-soo and me?" she asked, her voice filled with a hint of melancholy.

Reluctantly, I conceded, "Alright, I'll join you two for dinner tonight." As the words slipped from my lips, an inner voice screamed, "You're making a colossal mistake!"

"Make sure to swing by the house at eight sharp to pick us up," she exclaimed, her smile radiating pure energy, before swiftly exiting my office. Witnessing her sheer delight at my compliance with her request, I couldn't help but burst into a hearty chuckle. Once Min-san closed the door behind her, I returned to my desk and delved into reviewing a few reports.

"Mr. Lee, your two o'clock meeting is scheduled to commence in fifteen minutes," Yoni, my efficient secretary, alerted me through the speaker hanging above the door. As I gathered all the necessary notes for the impending meeting, my cell phone began to ring incessantly. Letting out an exasperated groan, I glanced at the screen to find my grandma's name flashing. Hastily declining the call, I switched my phone to silent mode and tucked it into the breast pocket of my jacket.
