Staring at Namjoon in our video call, Annie was nice enough to give us privacy while she sat on a near by bench while keeping an eye on me as she chows down on her food

"How are you?" I ask him when all he gives me is a head nod while looking away. That's the only answer he decided to give me

"How was the rest of your birthday?"

"Trash"

"I figured and I can also tell by my brothers face how it went" he chuckles a little when I start to pout

"About that - are you mad?"

"I was - until he told me what happened and honestly - he deserved it. If the role was reserved and Jungkook said that about my baby brother, I would have socked him in the face too. Probably harder since I have heavy hands" he says making me giggle "I actually wanted to apologize"

"For what?" I ask

"For ruining your birthday"

"But you didn't do any of that"

"Then let me at least apologize for blowing up the way I did. I am not that kind of person to get out of character like that. I never even called a woman a 'bitch' before"

"Really? Could have had me fooled the way the word just naturally spilled from your tongue and out your mouth"

"I know and I tried to keep my cool but, she lets out a different side of me. A side I never knew I actually had. I wanted to hit her - and that's not who I am. I never hit women"

"I understand. You sound like Jungkook, so you really have no reason to explain yourself. And apparently, she lets that side out of everybody" I say and he chuckles

"I just wanted to give you a great birthday. Even the one that Jungkook told me to give you because there was no way I wanted to wake up out my sleep with a punch to the throat" he says getting a laugh out of me

"But at least you're out" I say changing the subject

"Yea - thanks to my dad and Jungkook's"

"Jungkook's dad?" I say looking at him confused "What did he do?"

"He uh - he cancelled out the restraining order, since he and Jungkook were the ones that filed it"

"ARE YOU SERIOUS?!? THAT'S AMAZING NEWS!!" I yell seeing him chuckle from my outburst "But why would he do that?"

"Cause Jungkook called and told them the truth. He told his dad and my dad on three way about Levian and our relationship. Even going into details about Levian's encounter with what her abusive ex did to her"

"Even bringing up the 'R' word?"

"Everything" I never been raped. So I can't imagine what she has been through specially to have it done to her over and over again. No matter how much I might dislike her for what she did, she still never deserved anything like that to happen to her.

"I also see your dad did his job in making sure you stayed out of the media?" I say. He puts a side smile on his face showing me his right dimple

"Yea - my dad can be a very powerful man"

"Who is your dad by the way cause for him to be able to get you out of jail the second time with ease has me wondering" I say but watches as he deeply sighs

"My dad is Kim Layne" sitting there for a while, my eyes than grow wide. Staring at him, he lets out a big sigh when I start to blink frantically.

"Kim Layne, as in THE Kim Layne of Layne Attorney's?" I say still surprised. He then starts to nod
