Origin - Her home planet having been glassed, Ruby was orphaned and alone on Earth, until she met Jason Church. Soon, the two fell in love and found themselves in Project Freelancer as Agents Hawaii and South Carolina. Jason met his end at the hands of Headcase, Ruby being inconsolable. She then got her hands on the field containing all of the crimes Project Freelancer had committed. Realizing Jason died for nothing, she assisted Agents York and Texas in taking down the Mother of Invention. She was unfortunately separated from her allies a year later and hunted by the Meta due to having the AI fragment of Suffering, Zeta. Ruby narrowly escaped, but Zeta had to fragment himself to save her and power pod she resided in. She soon crash landed behind a base in a box canyon in the middle of nowhere.

Upon crash landing into Blood Gulch, Ruby loses most of her memories and almost everything about her past. Throughout the Blood Gulch Chronicles, she creates strong bonds with each of the Reds and Blues, helping them in every way she can. After defeating Wyoming and Omega, Ruby managed to save the Beta A.I., who now acts as her personal A.I. unit. Years later, Agent Washington reassembles the Reds and Blues to take down the Meta, but soon turns on them to get out of prison after destroying Project Freelancer with an EMP. Ruby finds herself saving Tucker from the Insurrectionist Leader and protecting her friends from Washington and the Meta. Washington joins the Reds and Blues after he's given a second chance, post them defeating the Meta. Following then, Agent North Carolina returns and forces the Reds and Blues to help her hunt down the Director of Project Freelancer, only for her to soon lose support due to her hostility toward everyone and battles Ruby, only to lose and be forced to head in alone with Epsilon. The Reds and Blues then decide to help her out and they successfully save Carolina from the army of Texases. Both she and Ruby find theirselves confronting the Director and then reconciling with one another, forming a new bond to take the place of their broken one.

Oh, and Ruby has a crush on Tucker now.
