"Thirty-three years is a long time, Y/N. There were times I forgot too." His eyes were gentle and understanding as he gazed at her. "You have me at a disadvantage," he then said while leaning towards her.  "So what has Y/N been doing all these years?"

Y/N dropped down to the ground, taking up her old position.  She patted her lap and he laughed.  Kakashi sat down before laying back to rest his head in her lap.  She playfully teased his hair like she always had done before except this time, he was enjoying it more than he should have and he crossed his legs to adjust himself.

"Well... I graduated high school then had a bit of a wild period," she admitted.

He raised a brow at her.  "Dare I ask?"

"Just a bit of drinking and smoking for a time," she grinned down at him.  "I guess I wasn't as wild as that sounded, though.  I didn't get in trouble or anything.  Went to college for a year, decided it wasn't for me then started working for a prosecutor's office."

"What's a prosecutor?"

"It's someone who tries to get criminals locked up," she responded, enjoying how silky his hair was as she teased it between her fingers.  "After doing that for quite a while I started working with a police department and have been doing that ever since."

"Kids?" he asked.

Y/N laughed as she looked down at him.  "No, I told you I wasn't ever having a boyfriend."

Kakashi suddenly had a coughing fit and she stared at him with wide eyes.  He sat up and turned to look at her with eyes so wide she thought they would pop out of his head.  "Never?  Are you serious?  You've never..."

She laughed hard at the expression, "Why is that so hard to believe?  From what I saw, YOU never have either!  And here you are a pervert and everything as well...."

Kakashi almost choked again.  "Now wait a minute pervert is a rather strong word..."

"Says the man that walks around with porn all day long," she shot back at him before dissolving into giggles.  "You have no idea how hard I laughed watching you." His cheeks were pink and she shoved him like she always used to do.  "So don't go telling me pervert isn't the right word.  By the way... let me see that book, I know you got it in that pack you're wearing."

"Y/N there is no way I am ever letting you see my book," he huffed a little, even his ears were red.

"How about I fight you for it?" She gave him a grin.  "And you have to let me see your face if I win too."

Kakashi laughed, "You're kidding.  There is no way you can beat me or did you forget how every one of our challenges went when we were kids?"

"Those are fighting words, Hatake," she said as she stood.  "I think I might surprise you. But no Ninjutsu... we don't have it in my world and that would be totally unfair."

Kakashi's eyes narrowed a little while his lips kicked up under the mask, "Deal but if you lose, I get something too."

"Okay, what do you want?"

"I'm going to think about it before I decide," he responded.

"Oh no... what do you have in mind... pervert?" Kakashi dove at her then and she nimbly side stepped him then got into a defensive position.  "Ah... don't like being called a pervert, eh?"

"I should paddle your backside, brat," he said.

Y/N turned her ass towards him, slapped it then waved him forward with her fingers.  "You are welcome to try... pervert."
