Kakashi woke early the next morning and was careful to not wake Y/N as he slid out of bed. He dressed quickly and was out the door shortly. He had not gone through the archives in quite a long time. He hoped that they had straightened them up or he would be in for a long day searching the records. The archives clerk was only just arriving as he approached the building.
"Lord Sixth! What do we owe this pleasure?"
"I'm looking for any kind of information about a red eyed dragon. Doesn't matter if it is legend, symbolic... everything we have that might even mention it."
The clerk's brows rose. "I can run a search through out database and see if we have anything that fits that perimeters. We went electronic about six months ago and most of our archives are now searchable on the computer."
Kakashi was more than relieved to hear that. His all day event was just dropped to a few hours. He leaned against the counter as the clerk ran a search through the computer. They then printed out a list for him then paused.
"There is one record in here but we don't have it here. It's labeled as an ANBU file and is being kept in one of their storage facilities."
"Could you go ahead and print that out for me?" Kakashi was intrigued. He would have to ask Naruto if he could get the record for him. "Thank you."
Kakashi looked at the list on hand and started down the rows upon rows of scrolls and texts. He pulled about half the list before taking a seat at a desk in the far back corner. He pulled out a scroll to take notes on before opening the first text.

Y/N woke slowly. She was so exhausted and felt like she had not slept at all, despite the sunlight streaming in through the cracked window. She yawned and slowly sat up. She felt the other side of the bed, noting it was cold. He must have gotten up early and left. After a couple of weeks of living together, she was starting to notice his pattern in life. He did not sleep nearly as much as she felt he should.
Today, since she assumed he would be gone most of it, she was going to go explore the village on her own. She smiled slightly as she put on her clothes for the day, then went into the bathroom. Kakashi had spent some time going over how their money worked with her. Once he had explained each piece as well as the basics of value, he had given her what she considered a good portion for the month. She felt almost like a kept woman not working but Kakashi had insisted it wasn't necessary and since he was retired, they could spend most of their time together.
She pulled her H/C hair up and away from her face then checked her image. She had chosen a white sundress for the day. After the awful nightmare of the night before, she wanted something that was bright and cheerful. Her S/C also looked fantastic against the fabric. She smiled, satisfied that she looked presentable. She was a bit excited to be going out on her own as Kakashi had a way of catching attention. This way, she could possibly slip by unnoticed and explore unhindered.
The day was bright and crisp. She wondered if fall was close. She had not asked Kakashi what the seasons were like here. The village was alive as she stepped out into the busy streets. She had her little change purse tucked into a hidden pocket. She got a couple of curious glances by those that thought she looked familiar; however, by the far she was able to successfully blend in with everyone else.
Y/N first turned into a book store. She wanted something to read when Kakashi was reading. She could have grabbed one of his books but she had a slightly different reading taste. She chuckled, her husband might have a perverted mind but he knew how to use that to her advantage! She would not complain that he read those books all the time.
