3RD PERSON POV
"WITHOUT FURTHER ADO, IT'S TIME FOR US TO GET STARTED!" The television behind Midnight lit up, indicating that the festival has already started. "U.A really doesn't believe in letting us catch a breath, huh?" Uraraka muttered.
"You said it..." Leilani replied.
"This is where you begin feeling the pain! The first fateful game of the festival!" She said, as a hologram appeared behind her. Few parts of the picture were then getting scrambled, randomly choosing the first event. "What could it be?"
The fast random picker stopped, showing a tag with the words, Obstacle Race. "Ta-da!" She exclaimed.
"So it's going to be an obstacle course..." Midoriya muttered.
The hologram then changed into a chart of the different sections in the first years. "All 11 classes will participate in this treacherous contest. The track is 4 kilometers around the outside of the stadium." She said, then flicked her torture whip upwards.
"I don't want to restrain anyone, at least in this stage." She stated, and licked her lips, curling into a smirk. "As long as you don't leave the course, you're free to do whatever your heart desires." She continued, making the crowd cheer louder.
"Now then, take your places, contestants!"
~***~
The first year students gathered round the exit for the obstacle course race. The three lights of green on top of the doorway disappeared, indicating that the race has finally begun.
