WALKING THROUGH THE ROADS OF I-ISLAND, BOTH Leilani and Todoroki were sharing a conversation with a few chuckles here and there. But, they still can't ignore bits of shyness and awkwardness during other times. Ever since those days ago, they've been feeling something else and they just couldn't get rid of it. Despite that feeling, they continued their friendship.
Leilani decided it was best to push it far away from her focus, right over to the deep back part of her brain. As for Todoroki, he wants to understand what it is. That's what his mother told him anyway... To listen to his heart, whatever that means.
As they were walking, Leilani suddenly heard her phone notification from her pocket. She opened her phone, seeing a message from Iida that informed her about where and at what time they would meet for the reception they'll be attending.
"Hey, Iida just sent me a message about the reception later." Leilani mentioned over to the boy beside her. Todoroki looked over her shoulder, "What does it say?"
"He said to meet at Lobby 7 at 6:30..." She responded, then checked the time at the corner of her phone.
'5:58pm'
"We should head back to our hotel rooms." Leilani said, placing her phone back in her pocket. "Let's meet at the lobby with the others later!" She smiled at him. Todoroki hummed, nodding his head, "Yeah. See you later."

Just as Leilani was changing in her room, she had just finished putting on her dress for the event and is now fixing her hair for later. As she was brushing the strands of her long dark hair, her eyes had drifted to the Circus Rose hairclip on the desk that was given to her by Todoroki earlier. Her gaze stared at it for a moment in time.
'Should I wear it?'
KNOCK. KNOCK.
A sudden knock on the door tore her thoughts away. From outside of her hotel room, she hears the call of her godfather, "Young Lani. Hurry, you'll be late for the reception. You still have to meet up with your classmates, right?" Toshinori queried from the other side.
