"STAND UP AND BE INGENIUM! BECOME THE HERO HE WANTED YOU TO BE!" Todoroki exclaimed, fire erupting from his left side. Leilani used her light magic to block one of Stain's attacks. At this point, the villain's speed was faster than before. His movements were so diverse that she couldn't follow his actions, or what his next attack will be.
Soon enough, their attacks collided, letting both magic and blade struggle against each other. "You're still too weak, youngling." The villain remarked as Leilani flew back, landing beside Todoroki. She glanced at her open wound as the blood gushed out.
With the female distracted by the blood spewing out, Stain took the opening and threw his dagger, directly at Lani's shoulder. But before it could reach her, Todoroki pushed her aside, letting his left arm take the damage. "Todoroki-!"
"Take it as a payback for taking the impact of his previous attack." He stated. Her breath hitched as she hesitated, but eventually agreed with the boy.
From inside the barrier that Lani created, Iida stared at the duo, watching blood drip out of their wounds. 'My friends are protecting me... they're bleeding for me...'
"Watch your right!" Midoriya exclaimed as Todoroki aimed his fire at the villain.
Leilani quickly flew up, creating a sphere of darkness, aiming it at the villain to trap him, but he quickly dodges it. Meanwhile, Todoroki created spikes of ice from the ground and shot out fire towards the villain.
"Ice and fire! Hasn't anyone ever told you, you rely on your quirk too much?? Makes you a careless fighter." Stain stated, pulling out his katana and positioning it at the boy's arm, preparing to cut it.
"TODOROKI!" "SHOTO!"
Both Midoriya and Leilani yelled out to their friend in despair. Just as Leilani was about to fly down back on the ground to try and stop the villain. A flash of blue beat her to it.
She paused, seeing Iida being able to move again. He used his Recipro Burst to kick the katana away from harming the two-color-haired boy, before kicking Stain that was enough to send the villain backward.
