*Author's POV* Y/n was having a pretty good day, work went well, he got gifts from his boyfriends. He was highly confident that the rest of his day would go great for him. That was until he heard a knock on the door. He gets up from his bed and goes to the front door, opening it seeing his mother.

Well, shit.

"Mom? What are you doing here?" Y/n asked "What's the matter? I can't visit my son?" Y/n's mother asked with a smile on her face. She pulls Y/n down and gives him a quick kiss on the cheek and walks inside the house. "I wasn't expecting you to be here. Why didn't you call me I would've picked you up from the airport" Y/n said, Y/n's mother moved to the States for the business she created. Y/n didn't expect her to come back home so suddenly (Basically wherever you want your hometown to be)

"That would've ruined the surprise, your brother told me you've been doing so well recently, you got a new job, you're planning to move, and you found yourself a lover? Who's the lucky girl? When can I meet her?" She asked. Y/n was slightly pissed at his brother, he knew Y/n hasn't come out to his mom yet and was waiting for the perfect time, maybe when he was moving houses, maybe around his birthday, or during his and his boyfriends anniversary.

"Yes, things have been going well. I got a promotion, I've been looking around for a house with more space" Y/n answered he was going to do everything in his power to ignore her questioning about his relationship. He wasn't ready to come out, hell he wasn't ready to tell his mom about his polyamory relationship.

"Still didn't answer my question about your lover. Who is she Y/n? I'm your mother and I deserve to know and don't lie and say you're not dating anyone, your brother doesn't lie to me he knows better" Y/n's mother said "Fine since you wanna know. Yes, I'm in a relationship. But not with a girl. And I'm in a polyamory relationship" Y/n said "You're dating a boy!? And you're in a what?" Y/n's mother asked Y/n just knows this isn't gonna go well.

"A polyamory relationship, meaning being in a relationship with more than one person. In my case, I'm dating two guys" Y/n said he tried to be calm and somewhat casual about this but he wanted to freak out so badly. "So my son is not only some f*g but he's also a slut? What's the matter with you!? I never raised you to be like this!" Y/n's mother yelled making Y/n flinch.

"There's nothing with me! And don't call me that!" Y/n yelled back now his emotions were getting the best of him, yeah he's used to getting homophobic slurs and getting slut-shamed but hearing his mother say this made him feel many emotions he never felt before.

Then, he felt some harsh against his cheek. She slapped him. Tears began to form, but he refused to cry in front of her. "Get out of my house and never come back. If you can't accept your son, then what's the point in being your son. Please leave" Y/n said as he walked to the door and opened it, he looks outside seeing Taehyung and Jimin standing outside with bags in their hands. "Y/n what's the matter? Who's this?" Jimin asked "I'm fine don't worry, and this hag was just leaving," Y/n said.

Y/n's mother only scoffed and stormed out of the house. Bumping shoulders with Jimin and Taehyung. "Y/n who was that?" Taehyung asked "That was my mother, she came home from the States and I came out to her and told her about you guys, I wasn't expecting her to react like how she did," Y/n said as tears began to spill.

The boys quickly walked over and hugged Y/n. "Everything will be okay, she'll realize she messed up big time. Good thing we bought some ice cream and a bunch of other snacks. We'll have a movie night"  Jimin said and so the couple did and the rest of Y/n's day was perfect.
