*Author's POV* It's already been a few days since the accident. Y/n has been trying to contact Namjoon. But Namjoon is ignoring him, and to make matters worse, Y/n's father has been texting and calling Y/n non-stop. Y/n isn't speaking to him until he finally gets some sense.

While Namjoon is over his friends, Hoseok's house. "Namjoon, I understand you're upset with Y/n at the moment but can you at least try and have a conversation with him? Or even better try to understand his father is the issue not him?" Hoseok said. "I know his father is the problem, but this has been going on for way too long, he needs to learn how to step up to him. For so long Y/n tells me about his father not being supportive or not having his back and when I ask him if he expresses that to his dad he doesn't," Namjoon said

"So what are you gonna do? You can't ignore him forever, you can't stay here and cry your feelings out forever, you need to do something" Hoseok said but before Namjoon could respond, they both hear a knock at the door. Hoseok goes and opens the door and sees Y/n, "I know Namjoon's here, I need to speak with him" Y/n said "Isn't that just perfect timing. Namjoon someone's here for you" Hoseok said as he watched Namjoon walking towards the door.

"What are you doing here?" Namjoon asked once he saw Y/n, "Well you do know we have to talk someday? You can't ignore me forever" Y/n said "Did you get everything sorted out with your dad?" Namjoon asked, "Can we have this conversation somewhere private?" Y/n asked. Namjoon nods and the two go into the car.

"I decided if dad doesn't want to support me at all about my love life then I'm simply cutting him off, I know you're tired about this going on for so long and I'm tired too," Y/n said "How did he feel about that?" Namjoon asked "He's been calling and texting for a few days now, but I don't care about how he feels, my love life is not his problem." Y/n said "And I'm sorry, I never stood up to him before, because I thought he was always right, or leading me to a good path," Y/n said

"You don't have to apologize, it's scary. I understand, and I'm sorry for being so harsh on you and not understanding you better," Namjoon said the two sat in silence. "Should we go home?" Namjoon asked and Y/n nods and the two go home.

Days later, the couple moved on from this problem. They forgave and forgot. One day, while the couple was having dinner at home, someone knocks on the door. Namjoon gets up and opens the door revealing Y/n's father. 'Fucking amazing' Namjoon thought to himself. "Oh, is Y/n also home? I need to speak with both of you" Y/n's father said. Namjoon didn't want to argue so he let him inside.

"Namjoon, who was that?" Y/n asked "Um, Y/n let's go into the living room, your dad is here" Namjoon said, "What? Why is he even here at this time?" Y/n said and got up from the table and walked to the living room, seeing his father sitting down on the couch. "What are you doing here?" Y/n asked "I needed to talk to you two. I wanted to apologize to you both. You both didn't deserve to get treated the way I treated you both, what I said and done are wrong and I should've known better then to step in the way between you two" He said. "Y/n, you're right, you're a adult, and I shouldn't keep making decisions for you. I just wanted your life to be easier if you were with someone who can take care of you without you having to worry about anything" He said

"But you always found him. And Namjoon, you are the perfect man for my son. I appreciate you for taking care of him and treating him with the love he deserves." He said. Namjoon smiled "Now since I finished my little speech, Namjoon I liked to welcome you to our family, and I would love to see you around more," Y/n's father said and smiled.

Finally, Namjoon and Y/n's father can get along. Things were so well that Namjoon got approval to marry Y/n. Now the couple is happily married expecting their first child.

I know the chapter kinda went corny that's all I can think of, but it's cute.
