~ A Surprise For You ~

Bio; Y/n's birthday is coming up and Jaemin wanted to do a surprise birthday party.

*Author's POV* "Everyone, let's say happy birthday to Y/n!" Jaemin cheered as he was clapping, making Y/n giggle, "Let's wait until it's actually my birthday" Y/n laughed as he read the comments. Y/n and Jaemin decided to go live together to let fans wish Y/n a happy birthday and ask him what his plans are for his special day. "Well, I have nothing in mind, I just want to relax at home as usual," Y/n says making Jaemin tsk, Y/n never celebrates his birthday. "I'll be right back, I'll get us something to drink," Y/n says and leaves the room. The moment the door closed, Jaemin went into action, "Okay everyone, I need you all to do this for me okay? I'm gonna do a surprise party for Y/n, but I need to know some things to make sure he'll enjoy it, I want you guys to ask him once he gets here, if I ask it'll blow everything" Jaemin says, and smiles when he sees all the fans agree.

"I think I hear him, get into action" Jaemin says. Seconds later, Y/n walks into the room and notices how awfully silent Jaemin went, "What's the matter? Why are you so silent?" Y/n asked "Oh nothing, I was reading something, what did you get to drink?" Jaemin asked "Just some waters, we had too many sweets" Y/n said and sat back down next to Jaemin. "Well, I'm sure there's some questions for the soon to be birthday boy, so let's read some questions yeah?" Jaemin said and Y/n nods. "Hmmm, what's your favorite cake flavor?" Jaemin asked and Y/n chuckles "You know this, but it's (your favorite cake flavor) that's my goto flavor" Y/n says "Someone asked your favorite color" Jaemin says "(Your favorite color) top tier color" Y/n says making Jaemin scoffs.

The two got through more questions, "Okay okay last one, and this is from me. If I could get you any present, what would it be?" Jaemin asked "(A present of your choice) but that's too much to ask for" Y/n said "You never know, well everyone this has been awfully fun but sadly this live must come to an end, please make sure to send Y/n birthday wishes" Jaemin says "When it's actually my birthday" Y/n joked and the two waved goodbye and ended the live.

- The Next Day -
Jaemin was beginning to plan out Y/n's surprise party, he got all the information he needed, he just needed to get everything with Y/n knowing, it makes it no easier since he lives with him but hopefully he'll figure it all out. Y/n could tell something was up, Jaemin has been acting weird, he would jump out of his skin everytime Y/n walks into a room, he would stutter when he got nervous suddenly for no reason. But he decided not to think too hard about it. Until, later in the day, Y/n was in the kitchen, looking through the drawers and saw a pack of ballons and birthday candles. Y/n chuckles and closed the drawer, pretending he didn't see anything.

- The Next Day -
It was Y/n's birthday, he woke up to his phone going off, knowing it was a bunch of people wishing him a happy birthday. He jumps the moment he opens his eyes, see Jaemin standing over him, smiling and maintaining eye contact, "Good morning my love" Jaemin says Y/n smiles "Good morning" he replies "I have a surprise for you, so don't even think about going back to sleep" Jaemin says and helps Y/n up from the bed and goes downstairs, holding his hand along the way. Y/n smiles seeing the ballons and birthday cake with lit candles. The two walk towards the cake, Y/n closes his eyes for a few seconds before blowing out the candles.

"Hmmm, for a surprise party you sure don't look surpirsed" Jaemin joked and Y/n laughd, "I'm just speechless that's all, but I love all of this, thank you" Y/n says and the couple happily relax at home for the rest of the day, enjoying cake.
