*Author's POV* Y/n and Minghao were at the park, they sat together on a bench swing. Enjoying their last days together. Y/n has been working at his dream job for a long time and final got promoted to do something better and life changing. But the problem is, Y/n would have to go to another city for this promotion.

Y/n was excited to go to another city and see new things and more. And he was so excited while telling his boyfriend of 4 years, he forgot one important thing. Minghao is a very busy person himself, and he plans on staying home for a while for his work. Meaning Y/n would have to leave Minghao for a while. A good two years or more.

Even though the two promised to face time and call each other everyday they knew long distance relationships are hard to do. So they both decided to keep the relationship as long as they could during this whole work situation.

After it was time for Y/n to leave, they did everything they could to keep contact. But they both got busy from work. Then they began arguing and when one would try to call the other, the call was ignored and more. Then they would go through long periods of time ignoring each other and then finally FaceTime each other to talk things out.

But it was beginning to get tiring for the both of them. So they decided to break things off.

Few years later, Y/n moved back to his hometown, he got a phone call from his older brother and was told his mother is very ill. So he came back home to take care of her and help around if needed.

One day, when Y/n was at the store picking somethings up for his mother he saw Minghao. They both walked into the same aisle and they made eye contact causing the two the freeze for a second. But then they finally came to their senses and started talking and began catching up. Sharing everything that's been going on after their breakup.

They finished their shopping together. And exchanged phone numbers and began talking again without realizing their relationship was slowly building again.
