~ The Game We Play ~

*Author's POV* "Who the hell was he Y/n I'm not playing around!" Jungkook screams at Y/n, the smaller boy only plays with his dress before smiling at Jungkook. "Why do you care? You don't claim me" Y/n says as he begins to walk down the hallway. The two were at an event, and while Jungkook was at the bar, drinking with an old friend, Jungkook noticed Y/n dancing and smiling at some random guy, Jungkook thought nothing of it but noticed minutes later Y/n holding hands with the guy leading him somewhere private. After the time went by, Y/n walked up to Jungkook was still sitting at the bar, and Jungkook noticed a light red mark on Y/n's neck.

Jungkook's blood began to boil and he grabs Y/n's arm and walks pulled him to a long hallway, leaving the two alone. "What are you talking about Y/n!? We're together that doesn't mean you go out to have some man all around you" Jungkook says making Y/n scoff and laugh "Please, you're a fucking joke if you're trying to play some angel. Let's talk about that little slut who was all over you last week" Y/n said making Jungkook groan in annoyance but managed to chuckle. "Are we seriously talking about this again? I didn't want her around me, not my fault everyone wants me" Jungkook says with a smirk on his face, "You're right, everyone does want you Jeon, who could honestly resist you?" Y/n asked as he pulled Jungkook closer and the two began to lean in closer.

They stop once their noses touch, "Goodbye Y/n" Jungkook says "Goodbye" Y/n says and the two pull apart and Jungkook walks away, leaving the event.

They played this game every time they saw each other. Play with each other's emotions to see who can crack first. They always wonder when are they going too far, there are times they think they should end this sick game, but they don't want to seem weak or they're so sensitive they can't handle a game. So they continue, waiting for one of them to quit.

Skipping forward, it was Y/n's birthday. He wanted to make a huge party for himself, he invited a bunch of people including Jungkook, that is his boyfriend why wouldn't he invite the person he loves the most?

Once everyone got to the party, everything was going well. But there was something bothering Y/n. Jungkook didn't go up to Y/n at all tonight, didn't even wish Y/n a happy birthday. He's been busy dancing with random girls and drinking his heart away. What made Y/n damn near explode was when Y/n noticed Jungkook and Y/n's best friend flirt and dance together. Her hands were all over Jungkook, she even began kissing his neck.

Y/n quickly got up from his seat and walked toward the two, "Excuse I have to take him away for a sec" Y/n says and grabs Jungkook's hand and pulls him into the middle of the room. Guiding his hand on Y/n's waist and began to slowly dance with Jungkook. "What's your problem?" Jungkook asked with a smirk on his face, glad he got a reaction out of Y/n. "You know what my problem is," Y/n says as he slowly wraps his arm around Jungkook's neck "I don't think I do, mind reminding me?" Jungkook asked

Y/n smacks Jungkooks arms and continues to dance with Jungkook, "You know, I enjoy seeing you jealous, you look so cute when you're angry" Jungkook says making Y/n scoff "Me? Jealous?" Y/n says "Admit it, you hate it when someone is all over me and it's not you," Jungkook says "In your dreams Jeon, watch someone take me away from you, leaving you crying in your room alone," Y/n says and smirks when Jungkook pulls Y/n closer "That's never happening," Jungkook says and Y/n laughs, "You see? You need me, and all these other little nobodies can't do everything I can do for you Jungkook. Without me, you're stuck" Y/n says and pulls away from Jungkook, walking away leaving Jungkook in the middle of the room as everyone dances around him.

Weeks later, the two were at another party, but this time things went too far. Y/n and a guy were talking while Jungkook was in the far back in the room, seeing everything go down. Jungkook could tell how uncomfortable Y/n was and needed someone to save him. The moment the guy tried to wrap his hands around his waist, Jungkook rushed over to Y/n, grabbed his hand, and walked outside of the building. There was no one outside, the moon was out. The only thing the two could hear is the music from inside the building.

"Let's end this" Jungkook said "I don't know what you're talking about," Y/n says making Jungkook scoff "This game, don't you think we're going too far? Playing some silly game for us to get hurt at the end, if we keep going we're gonna end up hurting each other" Jungkook says Y/n stays silent for a few minutes before nodding. "You're right, I don't want to keep doing this. I'm sorry" Y/n says and quickly pulls Jungkook into a tight embrace. Jungkook wraps his arms around Y/n's waist giving him light kisses on his cheek.

Little did the couple know, they would go back to this game again, doing more to hurt each other.
