*Author's POV* How did Y/n do it? He has no idea. He managed to get the Kim Taehyung, the most popular guy in school to fall for Y/n. Taehyung gotten popular for not only his looks but also because his talent in music and singing. He was the quiet kid, his small group of friends pushed him to join the talent show and everyone loved his talent and looks. Then just like that, he got popular. Everyone wanted to be his friend or date him.

Of course, Taehyung used his popularity as an advantage and dated the boy of his dreams. Everything was handed to him it just didn't feel real. And then the new boy came in, Y/n. The pretty boy everyone wanted to get with. But there was one person Y/n had an interest in and that was Taehyung.

So, one day Taehyung was in the library studying. Y/n usually goes to the library so he can catch up on his favorite show. But this time it was different. Y/n knew Taehyung would be in the library so he decided to go and start making moves.

Y/n walked over to Taehyung and sat down next to him. It was a pretty big table, so Taehyung didn't think anything of it until Y/n started up a conversation. "So you're the Kim Taehyung everyone talks about these days?" Y/n asked and Taehyung lifts up his head "Everyone is talking about me?" Taehyung asks "Don't act oblivious. You know everyone talks about you" Y/n says "Well, for the past few days I've been hearing a lot about you Y/n" Taehyung said and Y/n raises an eyebrow "Oh really? About what?" Y/n asked "Someone is trying to win your heart but it seems nearly impossible" Taehyung said

"I wouldn't say impossible, they haven't met my standards" Y/n said "And those would happen to be?" Taehyung asked Y/n slightly chuckles "You don't wanna know" Y/n says "Now I'm just curious. But I want to ask you something first" Taehyung says, Y/n only stares at Taehyung, waiting for him ask his question.

"Why did you suddenly sit with me?" Taehyung asked "You seem like an interesting person to know. Plus everyone else would rather play mystery with you then rather sit and talk to you. So I decided to make the first move. I hope you don't mind" Y/n said with a smile on his face "Not at all" Taehyung said and the two started building a relationship. Not the relationship Y/n was hoping for but he couldn't complain.

As the two began getting along more and more. Taehyung introduced Y/n to his other friends and his boyfriend. Which was a jackpot for Y/n. He needed to know who and what Taehyungs boyfriend looked like just to see what competition he was against. To Y/n, this isn't even an challenge to sweat over.

Taehyung's boyfriend doesn't like Y/n at all, he tried to tell Taehyung to stop hanging around Y/n but Taehyung wouldn't listen. So he decided to try and confront Y/n himself. "What do you want with Taehyung?" The boy asked "I'm sorry?" Y/n asked playing the dumb game works out sometimes "Don't play stupid, I know you want Taehyung for something, what is it? Popularity? His looks?" The boy asked "Why do you care so much?" Y/n asked as he rolled his eyes

"Because Tae is mines and I'm not gonna let some random nobody take him away. So if I were you I would back off because you don't know what I am capable of" The boy said "I-I wouldn't do anything like that" Y/n said with a little bit of fear in his tone the boy only smirks "Then stay away from what's mine" The boy said

"You know, I wonder what you would do to me when I steal Taehyung away from you" Y/n said "Excuse me?" The boy says "I'm just curious, Taehyung getting tired of you and he runs into my arms instead, I wonder what would happen to me. Are you gonna hurt me or something? Try to run me out of school? Ruin my reputation?" Y/n asked with a smirk on his face

"Nothing but a pathetic nobody dating Taehyung. You do know, that's the only title you only had. 'Kim Taehyung's boyfriend' no one even knows your name. But if I were you I would hold to that title before someone snatches it away" Y/n says and walks away and heads to his next class.

Days later, Taehyung has been hanging out with Y/n more and more. Then Y/n finally began to play with Taehyung's heart. "Tae, I have something very important to tell you" Y/n said "What's the matter Y/n?" Taehyung asked "I know we only knew each other for few months, but I can't help but share that your boyfriend has a problem against me and I just don't know what" Y/n said Taehyung raises an eyebrow "What do you mean?" Taehyung asked

"The other day, he pulled me aside because he wanted to have a conversation with me. I thought he finally wanted to be my friend because we've been very distant and I can't help but notice the dirty looks he's been giving me." Y/n said and Taehyung still looks at Y/n so he continues. "Then, he starts threatening me and telling me to stay away from you and more. I didn't get the whole conversation but I managed to get some of it recorded that day" Y/n said as he takes out his phone and let's Taehyung listen to the conversation. But cutting out some of the things Y/n said that would put a bad look on Y/n.

Taehyung was shocked, "I can't believe he would do something like this" Taehyung said "I'm sorry for showing something like this to you, I'm in no means to ruin your relationship or anything, but I just felt you needed to know. Plus I was told by many others that he also threatened people to stay away from you" Y/n said "Let's go" Taehyung said as he stood up and storms out of the library, Y/n follows.

Taehyung sees his boyfriend at his locker, and then Taehyung explodes. "What is wrong with you!?" Taehyung yelled "What are you talking about?" The boy asked "You know what I'm talking about, threatening people to stay away me!? Are you crazy? I'm allowed to talk to whoever I want, and every person that wants to be my friend doesn't mean they want to date me" Taehyung said

"You don't know that Taehyung, there are people who would rather date you for your looks or popularity. Why do you think Y/n all of a sudden wants to be your friend!?" The boy yelled "Then what did you date me for? To actually be with me or was it something else?" Taehyung asked making the boy fall silent. Taehyung didn't say anything, he just walked away. Y/n follows. His plan was working. Everything was going smoothly and the last part will make Taehyung fall for him.

Which is, supporting Taehyung. A messy breakup isn't easy to deal with and being a great support system can get the job done. Which is what Y/n did. Weeks go by and Y/n has been giving Taehyung love and support. Taehyung was glad to have someone like Y/n by his side. Which cause him to start questioning his feelings towards Y/n.

"Y/n, I have to be honest with you" Taehyung said "Yes Tae?" Y/n asked "I've been falling for you, and I just don't know what to do" Taehyung said and Y/n only smiles "Then ask me out on a date, and we'll see from there" Y/n said. Everything went according to plan.
