A knock sounded at my door. "Come in." I welcomed the person.

Doctor Lindsay walked in and gave me a bright smile. I took note that she wasn't wearing a doctors outfit.

"Thought it would make you more comfortable." She told me noticing how I was looking at her clothes.

She looked... normal. Her blonde hair was curly. She had on a pair of sneakers and blue jeans. As well as a v- neck.

"It does. You look hot." I informed her. Her cheeks went red.

"Think it would be inappropriate to flirt with your doctor." She laughed. I shrugged.

"Maybe. Maybe not. Anyway, what did you need?" I asked.

"Need to check your vitals." She answered. She walked to me and explained everything she was going to do as an attempt to ease me.

She finished. "Alright."

"Lindsay, when will I be able to get out of here?" I whined.

"Soon. Tomorrow at the soonest." She answered. I nodded.

She left the room. I sighed. I grabbed my phone and got on Instagram, I saw over 100 post about the shooting from people from my school.

School was cancelled since it was an active crime scene.

"Fuck it." I mumbled climbing out of bed. I snuck out of the hospital. Irresponsible but my mother was correct.

Those walls are so boring. And draining.

I walked aimlessly toward the kitchen. Immediately I grabbed pickles and began eating those.

"Well, well, well. What have we here?" I heard a taunting voice say.

I looked up, pickle in my mouth to see all four of my brothers with their arms crossed.

"A ghost?" I asked looking around me. I heard Grayson laughing.

"No. An idiot." Connor mumbled.

"Oh yeah. I see him. Right there." I countered pointing at him.

"You're so funny, Cora," he spoke sarcastically. "Get back to bed." He order more serious.

"I saved your life, do not tell me what to do." I argued.

"I am looking out for you." He insisted.

"I don't need you to right now. It's a gunshot wound that is already healed. I will be fine. Look after me another day." I sighed.

"Sorry, Co. You can't leave the hospital until you're discharged." Dylan pressed gently.

I started doing jumping jacks which made all the boys rush forward.

"See? Perfectly fine." I told them.

"You might be, but if you don't get your ass back in the hospital bed. I will be calling our father." Luca chimed in.

"Do it." I shrugged.

"And I will be calling mom." Dylan helped pulling out his phone.

"I am now going back to the hospital!" I shouted. I made my way back to the hospital.

Stupid brothers. With scary mother. Blackmail. I should have them arrested.

I sat on the couch in my hospital room. A phone on my bedside table started to ring. It was a landline connected through the hospital.

I picked it up and answered. "Hello?" I spoke into it.

"Subject 12. It's nice to hear your voice. You sound well. No more bloodlust?" The cruel man who I knew was on of the men who kidnapped me.
