We barely made it out of the water when she began kissing me again.
We crashed onto the ground with her on top. I just barely winced at the fall. Her lips were interlocked with mine.
Her legs were on both sides of my waist in a straddled position. My hands sat on her waist.
Her lips trailed to my neck and began leaving kisses and sucking on certain spots. I let out a small moan as she continued.
Our naked bodies were pressed together, but it didn't disgust me. It felt right.
I flipped us over so I was on top. I sucked on her bottoms lip, biting it ever so slightly causing her to moan.
My lips attached to her neck and started to do as she did to me. Her hand traveled to my right breast and let it rest there.
I licked between her own breasts and stopped at her stomach to travel back up. My mouth attached itself to her breast.
"As much as I would love to continue," I pulled myself up, still straddling her. "Our first time will not be when we are both freezing cold and well, you know in the grass." I grinned.
"What are you suggesting?" Kayla asked locking our hands together. I pulled her hands above her head both hands interlaced with each other's.
My body was laid on her own, fully. "You're kind of heavy, you know?" She teased. I scoffed.
"Are you calling me fat?" I asked in a shrill voice. She laughed. I stood up and pulled her to my feet.
"Want to get dressed?" Kayla asked pulling me closer to her. My hands gripped her neck.
"Not especially, but it is pretty dark so we should be heading back." I smiled.
She agreed. We were able to find our clothes. "I can't find my other shoe!" Kayla complained. We were using flashlights to search for our clothes.
I shined the light on my own feet only to see I had two different shoes. Kayla deadpanned. "Give me my shoe, Cora!" She whined. "My feet are cold."
"Sounds like a you problem," I laughed evilly. She stomped her foot. "Oh, don't be mad. I'll help you find my other."
Once we found it and she pushed it on her own foot. "What do we do about the picnic?" Kayla asked.
I gazed down at the door and blanket. "We will come back tomorrow." I answered as we started our short trek to the car.
"What if bears get it, or the Lake Killy Monster." She teased, pinching my stomach.
"Bitch," I muttered under my breath. "There are no bears, babe. As for the Lake Killy Monster, I'm sure you scared him away."
She gasped, sarcastically. Bullying each other at its finest. We got into the car. Kayla synced her phone to the radio and turned on some music.
"You're music taste needs work." I grinned at her. She drummed her fingers on the dash board.
"You have the same music taste as me." She pointed out as she stopped drumming. She looked behind her, her eyes blinking rapidly.
"Kay, what is it?" I asked worried about her strange behavior. Unconsciously, I went faster.
"Don't freak out, but I think we are being trailed." She answered, again looking behind us.
"Shit. What do I do?" I asked, gripping the wheel. Kayla let out a shaky breath.
"Don't panic. Call your brothers." She instructed. I grabbed my phone, but kept my eyes on the road.
"Take the next right." She instructed. I rang Luca and he answered on the second ring.
"Hey, baby sis! How's the date?" He asked, excitedly. I let out a sigh.
"Luca, listen to me. Who are you with?" I asked, hurriedly. Sensing my worry, he jumped into big brother mode.
"Connor, Bree, Dylan, and Zaine. Why? Is something wrong?" He asked. I could hear Connor's voice asking what's wrong.
"We are being followed, Lu." I told him. I heard him take a deep breath. Then, he put me on speaker.
"Are you okay?"
"Who's following you?"
"Where are you?"
"Is Kayla okay?"Instantly they all began asking questions. "We are fine. For now." Kayla answered them all.
I took another right. Seconds after, the van followed. "How long has it been following you?" Connor asked.
"A little after we left the lake." Kayla answered. I heard Bree whisper to them she was going to get my mom and dad.
"Cora, step on it. If they're still following, they aren't going to stop. They will speed up." Dylan instructed.
"But they'll know that we know they are there." I argued. Kayla sucked in a breath again. She looked behind us.
"Cora, peddle to the meddle, babe. They are right behind us." She told me. Shit.
"Go, sweetie!" I heard my father yell. And so I did. Throwing caution out the window, I stepped in it.
Instead of going 60, we were going 90 with very little distance between our followers and ourselves.
My hand found Kayla's. I gripped her hand as she did mine. I took a turn not slowing down at all.
"Baby girl, what's happening?" My mothers frantic voice came from the phone.
"They aren't letting up, Mom," I answered. She let out a groan. "It's turning into something from Fast and Furious."
I could hear all of their worried voices, but I drown them out. I look over at Kayla. "Can you tell who it is?" I asked.
She shook her head. "They aren't shooting. They want us alive, but they'll get impatient." She whispered.
They want us alive. Are these the people from the nightclub? Kayla was right. They did get impatient.
A bullet broke the glass of the back window. Kayla let out a shriek and hunched lower in the seat. I followed, but didn't let up on the gas.
"What the hell was that?" Connor's voice roared.
"They're fucking shooting!" Kayla screamed the answer. I let out a gasp.
"Kayla! The guns! I told you I hid some!" I remembered. She grinned.
I told her to check under her seat. She pulled out a gun. Carefully rolling down her window, she let the bullets fly.
"Damn it!" She yelled laying back down. I glanced over with a worried expression.
"What? What's wrong? You know, besides being chased by people with guns?" I asked.
She groaned. "They have goddamn bullet proof glass." She answers. A shaky breath escaped. I took another fast and sharp turn.
"Cora, watch out!" Kayla's voice screamed. Then another van hit our car.
