Kayla was propped up on my bed with the computer my parents bought me along with my new phone. "Alright, Co. Let's go." Kayla told me. Jumping up from the bed.

I was trying on clothes. Right now I was wearing ripped jeans, a tee shirt, combat boots, and a leather jacket.

"Where?" I asked. Staring at myself in the mirror. It was crazy. I don't look like a sewer rat.

"The mall. We need dresses for the ball tonight." She exclaimed clapping her hand together.

We walked out of the house. We almost made it to the door when I heard him.

"And where do you think you're going?" Connor's voice echoed behind us. I cringed at getting caught as did Kayla.

"Outside." I stupidly said. Wanting to smack myself.

"Great. I'll join you." He smiled walking beside us. We groaned.

"We just want to go to the mall, Con!" Kayla yelled stomping her foot like a 3 year old not getting her way which made me laugh.

"Tough titties." Connor countered. "You're not going anywhere without me. I just got my sister back and there is no way in hell she's leaving the house without me." He told us. We sighed.

Guess he's coming to the mall with us. We piled into the car. "To the mall, Mark." Connor told our driver.

Kayla and I played a game with our hands. Connor laughed every time I lost.

"We have arrived, Ms and Mr. Banks." Our driver, Mark told us. We piled out of the car.

I grinned when I saw all the people. So many people. That wasn't wearing a lab coat and smelled like horror.

"You look happy." Connor observed slinging his arm over my shoulders.

"I am." I commented. Kayla grinned.

"How do you feel meeting some of my friends?" Connor questioned. I smiled and nodded.

"First dresses!" Kayla yelled. She grabbed my hand and pulled me. We made it to a small store that had beautiful gowns.

I smiled. Kayla was giggling in happiness. We tried on a bunch of dresses. Until we decided.

I chose a baby blue gown that reached the floor. It had small ruffles on the top area. It was gorgeous. It had a slit where my leg would poke out.

Kayla chose a pinkish whiteish one. The gown at the bottom had a pink tint but the top was white with small ruffles. It was gorgeous as well.

We bought the dresses. "Now our nails." Kayla clapped. Connor had wandered off to the food court.

I got baby blue fake nails and she got light pink. "Let's go, babe." I grinned. We walked toward the food court.

Connor sat with 2 other guys. I collapsed on the other side of them. "My feet are killing me." I whined. Kayla rolled her eyes and Connor chuckled.

"Cora, this is Alex and Ryan." Connor introduced them to me.

"Hey. Cora." I greeted them. They looked surprised.

"The Cora? Like Connors twin sister? The one who went missing?" Ryan asked.

"No filter? But yes that would be me." I told them. They smiled at me.

"It's lovely to meet you, princess." They told me slightly lowering their heads. I furrowed my eyebrows.

"They are apart of our mafia." Connor whispered so only we could hear. I nodded.

"It's good to be back." I countered.

"All right. The ball is in 3 hours. Let's go." Kayla spoke pulling me out of the booth.

We made it home with Connor and our driver and then Kayla and I bounded upstairs.

"Okay, hun, let's get your makeup done!" Kayla cheered. She grabbed all the makeup my mother had bought for me.

It took a little while but it was worth it. I had a light color on my eyes lids with a small wing and mascara. I had nude lipstick along with my brows done.

She put my hair into a lazy bun but it looked amazing with the rest of me. Since I had absolutely no clue how to do makeup or hair, she done her own and she looked gorgeous.

The ball started soon and I could already hear voices down stairs. We quickly slipped into our dresses.

"Gorgeous." I complimented her and she laughed.

"I dreamt of this day. The day we would celebrate you being back." She confessed. We both had on heels.

I smiled sadly. "Me too." I told her. "Now, let's go. Can't be late to my own party." I grinned. She nodded and we descended downstairs.

Every mafia from all over were already here. Even our enemies which I am not exactly sure who they are.

Let the games began.
