Chapter:4

"What?" Emy questioned in shock.

"Neorah was once with a witch named Chester. That's when she gave birth to Calista. She is a vampire witch by birth and can use both her powers." Jacob explained.

"Why is she here?" Emy enquired.

"For revenge--- She wanna take her revenge on you for killing her mother," Jacob answered.

Emy swallowed the lump in her throat. Her body was ice cold from fear.

"Emy," Jacob cupped her face in his palms,

" You should be careful," Jacob told her.

Emy nodded her head.

Jacob went right after that. And she was left in thoughts.

She wasn't scared for herself. She only cared about her child right then. Somehow she managed to sleep with her mind filled with dreadful thoughts.

The next morning.

It was finally the wedding day. Emy and James were so excited. Emy chose a medieval theme. So the dress, the ornaments, and the ceremony hall were all decorated according to medieval times.

Emy was dressed in a medieval empire waist gown with long - bell sleeves ornamented with a golden decorative band. She wore gold earrings and a v- cut gold necklace to match her gown.

Her hair was tied into a loose fishtail. She also wore a handmade floral gown with violet orchids from which a cascade cathedral satin veil was attached.

James wore a mid-thigh length, loose long sleeve medieval style white tunic with a golden decorative band that ornamented the sleeves, v - neck, and hem. He wore black medieval pants and a violet overcoat. He also wore a silver belt, to which a sword was attached. And high black boots along with a black-grey crown.

The ceremony took place in a made-up cave in the forest-like area near the Stevenson residence. All the pack members were invited. Emy's friends Leydah, Mike and Christen from her highschool and Maya and Harry from her university were also invited.

Kate and Max were Emy's maids of honor. Seth was James's best man. And Aiten was the marriage officiant.

Emy and James walked down the aisle together accompanied by Kate, Max, and Seth. As they reached the altar, Aiten began to announce to the gathering.

"Ladies and Gentlemen,

Today, we have gathered here to celebrate the passionate love between James and Emerald. They had known each other since high school and now they have realized that they can't live without each other. Both of them have prepared their own vows. Therefore, Emerald, you can start with yours." Aiten finished.

Emy stepped closer to James and held both of his hands tightly.

"James, I didn't fall in love with you. I walked into love with you, with my eyes wide open. Because of you I laugh, I smile and I dare to dream more than I ever have. I still remember the day I fought with you and decided to break up with you. That day, I saw how much you were broken and I realized how much I was important to you. I promised myself on that day  that I will never part from you." Emy's eyes streamed down with tears that ruined her mascara.

" I promise to give you the best of myself and to be with you even when the whole world leaves you behind. I  will be there to hold your hand and stand by your side no matter what. I would choose you in a hundred lifetimes in a hundred worlds. In any version of reality, I would find you and choose you. You will always be the love of my life, my soul mate, my person." She tightened the grip on his hand and smiled.

"I, Emerald Haverford take James Stevenson to be my wedded husband, to have and to hold from this day forward, for better or for worse, for richer or for poorer, in sickness and in health, to love and to cherish, forever and there to pledge thee my trot."  Emy finished her vows and glanced at James.

His eyes were filled with tears that threatened to fall if he blinked for once.

"James, now you can say yours," Aiten told him.

He gazed into Emy's eyes and smiled the happiest smile in his lifetime.

"Emy...First of all, I love you beyond anything in this entire universe. The love you have shown me is far more than my childhood self could dream up. It's heartwarming, genuine, and fierce...Sometimes all at once. At the same time, your love for me has taught me to find what I spent so long searching for within myself. When you confessed your love for me the first time, you were drunk." James chuckled.

everyone at the hall including Emy laughed at that.

"But still, your eyes revealed the love you had for me and your burning desire to have me all for yours. From then till now, my love for you is constant." He took a deep breath and continued,

"Emy, I promise to trust you and respect you and to realize that your interests, desires, and needs are no less important than mine." He sighed and smiled at the same time.

"I, James Stevenson, take Emerald Haverford as my wedded wife, to have and to hold from this day forward, for better or for worse, for richer or for poorer, in sickness and in health, to love and to cherish forever and thereto I pledge thee my trot." He promised.

Emy felt like she was flying high. She was really happy. She never thought that his vows will be that long and that he would remember her confession.

"Now time for the rings," Aiten said.

Seth offered the rings.

James slid the ring into her ring finger and winked at her.

Emy blushed and did the same.

"Mr. and Mrs. Stevenson, we heard the sincerity in your promise to share your lives in marriage. We recognize your love and support for your decision to build a home together. By the powers vested in me, I now pronounce you husband and wife. James, you may kiss - " Before Aiten could finish, James and Emy kissed with a burning passion.

"The bride..." Aiten completed chuckling.

Next came the wedding cake. It was a chocolate cake decorated with black and white cream and red roses on the sides, according to Emy's wish.

Both of them cut the cake and offered each other.

Everyone applauded them in happiness except two. Jacob stared at them with jealousy and the other stared at them with fury.

"What the hell are you doing here Calista?" Jacob asked, shocked to see her there suddenly.

"Planning how to kill her and ruin their happiness." She answered.
