The next day

Emy woke up in her room. It was hard for her to get up from the bed because of her swollen belly. She slept the previous day in her own room as Jacob had returned. She went to Jacob's room to get her daily dose of blood from the freezer.

"Good morning" he said and leaned in to kiss her.

Even though the kiss meant nothing to her, she acted as if she enjoyed it.

"Good morning" she replied and walked to the freezer.

"How is Hayley and your child?" Emy asked taking a blood bag and sitting near him.

"Both of them are doing well" he said "And it's a boy"

"What did you name him?" Emy asked, taking a sip from the blood bag.

"Cosmos, she's an admirer of space" he added.

"Calista told me about your ability" he said after a short pause " Shape shifting is really cool, you know"

"Compulsion is cool too, Jake"

That's when she thought about it. She wanted to try compulsion.

"Calista is a bitch" she mocked as if she was compelling him.

"Calista is a bitch" he repeated, his pupils dilated and staring at her.

He was compelled.

Emy was surprised. She tried again.

"You will forget what I said just now"

"I will forget what you said just now" he repeated.

He felt strange.

"What happened just now?" he asked, not knowing what happened to him. His head felt dizzy.

"Nothing" Emy giggled and walked to her room.

Jacob knew something wasn't right.

Emy had no idea what just happened.

"Did I just compel him?" Emy thought "But how on earth is that possible? He is stronger than me. Also I have two powers already. So what am I?

Suddenly she noticed a light from the side. She glanced to the side and saw that it was a mirror reflecting the light within the room.

"A mirror!" she squealed and suddenly shushed as she remembered she was loud.

She was a mirror. She could reflect the power of the person near her.

This was new to her. She felt like a super hero or heroine with so many powers. She felt excited. But she felt sad as she had no one to share this happy news. She couldn't tell this to Calista or Jacob. They must never know this. She wished if she was if home with her family. She missed Kate. She missed Seth. She missed James. She missed her entire family. She felt alone and she cried.

"Ow" she squealed.

That's when she remembered she wasn't alone. She had her baby.

"Mommy knows you are there for me, my baby." Emy thought, smiling with happy tears in her eyes.
