Calista entered the room. Emy was scared as hell. She clutched her belly and closed her eyes tight. She knew that Calista will catch her any moment and the consequence will be high.
Calista went straight to her mother's coffin. She opened the coffin and patted her mother's face.
"I will save you soon, Mom. " She said in assurance.
After that she closed the coffin and walked out. Emy was surprised.
"She didn't see me? " Emy thought.
She had no idea what just happened. She chanted the spell again and got out of the room immediately.
"Where were you? " Calista asked as Emy walked into Calista's room.
"I - I was in the backyard. " Emy replied, stammering.
Calista stared at her confused.
"Although I couldn't get out, I just wanted some fresh air. " Emy corrected herself.
"Oh, ok."
Emy was relieved that she saved herself from Calista but she wondered why Calista couldn't see her when she was in the room. After processing a few things in mind, Emy asked Calista,
"Hey, is it possible for a vampire to have more than one power?
"No. Its not. " Calista rethought for a second and said, " Well its actually possible."
Emy stared at her curiously to know how.
"If someone dies after consuming the blood of two or more vampires, its possible for a vampire to have more than one ability. " Calista replied.
"I see." Emy sighed.
"Why do you ask that?"
"Just out of curiosity." Emy replied.
She thought about it again. She was changed after consuming Jacob's and Kate's blood.
"May be that's the reason I have two powers.
NIGHT ARRIVED
There was a knock at the door. Calista opened the door. It was Jacob. Emy walked to the door as well. Emy hugged him as soon as he entered. Although Calista didn't like that, she remained silent.
"How have you been Emy?" Jacob asked.
"Well, I am more than perfect. Calista took great care of me." Emy replied.
Calista was proud of herself for that compliment.
Jacob talked about Hayley and how life was with her. Calista also explained to him about Neorah's current condition.
But later, she gave a detailed information on Neorah's health and the secret room in Emy's absence.
