Chapter:34

Kate, Max, Seth and Aiten barged in. Calista opened her eyes and saw them. She trembled in fear. She knew the reason for their arrival.

"Where is our Emy?" Kate questioned Calista by strangling her.

Emy rushed to the living room hearing all the noises. Her heart filled with happiness seeing her family.

"They are here. They are here to take me home." Emy thought and was ready to hug Kate.

But suddenly she remembered her James. She couldn't leave from there knowing that James was still alive. So she decided to put up an act in front of them in order to stay there.

Jacob too came to the spot. Kate's anger intensified as she saw him. She caught Calista's throat harder and questioned her again, " I asked where is Emy? "

Emy vamp sped to Kate's side and pushed her. Kate  fell down.

"Don't you dare touch her" Emy demanded.

Kate was shocked by her reaction.

"Why the hell are you here?" Emy questioned.

"We are here to take you home" Seth answered. He was shocked by her response too.

"Home? Well this is my home" Emy replied.

Aiten noticed her swollen belly and understood that she was still pregnant. He sighed in relief. He read her mind and understood that she was lying. Everything inside her head was read by him.

"You weren't there when I needed you" Emy caught Jacob by his arm and continued, "Only he was there to bring me back."

"And she" Emy pointed at Calista, provided me everything I wanted. So this is my home. " Emy finished.

"Emy you ran away from us. Do you know how much we tried to find you? You were-"

"Stop it! I don't want to hear a word from you." Emy commanded stopping Kate mid sentence.

"You are not my family anymore. You can  all go rot in hell." Emy shouted.

Everyone were heartbroken, except Aiten. Emy's change was more than they could accept.

Max was furious. She asked, "If we are not your family, then who is your family? This dog who killed your friends?"she pointed at Jacob,"Or this bitch who killed your husband?"

"I guess that's none of your business, Margaret." Emy spat.

"Let's leave. She has made her choice." Aiten said.

"But-" Kate was stopped mid sentence by Aiten.

"I said, let's leave."

And they went back without Emy. Emy's heart throbbed with pain for the way she acted. But she was sure that Aiten would have read her mind and understood why she had to put up an act.

Calista was more than happy.

"Thankyou so much for staying Emy." She pulled her in for a hug.
