Drac is in the kitchen when you rush in, your breath elevated. And to your annoyance, Vicrul and Kuruk are sitting at the table eating. You take your armor off, hanging it up next to Kuruk's on the wall, and plop down in a chair as Drac brings you a plate.

"Thank you Drac." You start stuffing your face immediately, eyes drooping closed.

Vicrul and Kuruk keep glancing at you, eating in silence. You take a deep breath, letting it out in a sigh as you chew your food. They're annoyance and skepticism is grinding on your tired nerves.

"What time of day is it? I've lost track of time completely."

"Almost morning." Drac calls out from the kitchen.

You pivot in your chair, giving him an incredulous look. "What are you doing here then, Drac?! You should still be sleeping."

Vicrul gives you an annoyed huff, but you don't look back at him. Anger starts creeping up your veins at him. Drac shrugs his shoulders with a sheepish grin, pausing as he wipes down the counter.

"This is my job."

"How did you even get stuck with this job?" you shove another big bite of food in your mouth.

He looks uncomfortable with that question. His gaze flickers between the two men at the table. He speaks slowly, like he's nervous he shouldn't say anything. "I...saw something I shouldn't have...and they like to keep me close."

"We still like you Drac!" You can practically hear Vicrul's wink as he speaks.

You whip your face around to him. "What did you do to him?" you bark.

Kuruk chuckles. "Nothing, he just walked in on us torturing a woman and heard some unsavory information. He was a trooper." He glances up at Drac, back to cleaning the kitchen. "It was lucky for him that we needed a new quarters bitch."

You frown at Kuruk and Vicrul. "You shouldn't call him that. He can spit in your food, you know."

Drac's normally composed voice now shakes with nerves. "Oh, no! Of course not! I would never do that!"

You get up, taking your plate to the sink, thinking about how insecure you were when you first came here. Drac goes to take your plate, but you refuse, washing it in the sink yourself. You look over at him. He still hasn't composed himself yet under your scrutiny, something you feel with your master.

"You know, Drac, I almost tried to fuck you when I first got here."

He blinks, a blush creeping up his face. He has to clear his throat before trying to speak, but nothing comes out.

"I thought you might be a real dud in bed. Plain and submissive...." you narrow your eyes as you look him up and down, paralyzing him in place. "But maybe I was wrong about you. You're only like that for these assholes so they don't decapitate you, aren't you."
