It's late afternoon when you slink out of Kuruk's room. Peaking your head out, you can't feel any energies nearby, so you rush to yours and Vicrul's room to shower alone and put clean clothes on before getting something to eat. Your body aches and throbs painfully. You make sure the mirror fogs up so you can't look at yourself. It hurts too bad to pull down a tight sports bra, so you opt for a tight tank and loose joggers.

Kuruk sticks his head out of his door as you patter out into the hallway on light feet, he too looks around to make sure the coast is clear. "I assume what we just did was a private exchange?"

You purse your lips, your shoulders shaking with silent laughter. "Exchange? Goodness, Kuruk, I didn't know you were so romantic!"

You walk past him toward the kitchen, grabbing and chugging a water.

"Hasn't anyone ever told you that sarcasm is unlady-like?"

He puts himself in the way, so you have to rub against him in the tiny kitchen between the stove and the island. You let your hand graze over the crotch of his pants as you scooch by. He steps out of your way, smirking.

You force your blush back down. "Alright, enough. As far as the others are concerned, I got back just a few moments ago."

He frowns from the other side of the counter, watching you crack a few eggs into a hot pan and slicing bread.

"Ducky, you can't really be that stupid..."

"What?"

He points silently to the wall...where your helmet is laying on the floor with your boots and jacket. Everyone else's armor is gone except Kuruk's. They know you're back. And they know Kuruk didn't go on a run this morning. Or join whatever else they're doing right now. You nearly slap yourself on the forehead.

"No secrets...right." You slide some of the eggs onto one plate, keeping one for yourself.

You hand Kuruk a plate of eggs and bread, heading toward the table with your own. You sit down, and look back at him when you realize he didn't follow you. He's just staring at his plate in shock.

"Uh...is something wrong? Allergic to eggs?"

He turns, plate in hand, and sinks down into a chair next to you. "No. I- thankyou... I just wasn't expecting that. Thank you. I assumed it was all for you...thank you."

"Yeah, you said that." You laugh as you shovel food into your empty stomach. "It's no big deal. Just food."

You're nearly done with your meal when the blast door slides up and a wave of annoyance comes rushing toward you. All five knights stomp in, slamming their helmets and weapons down. You freeze in your seat, biting your cheek and waiting.

Ushar is the first to notice you. His eyes widen as he takes in your bruised and swollen face. "Ducky! Sorry didn't recognize you, thought Kuruk let a hutt into the quarters."
