"That was quite the bloodshed, Lupin," Axel said, grinning. "Very enjoyable and these necklaces are phenomenal."

Remus chuckled. "Thank you for coming. It certainly helped."

"I think you guys had it covered, but it was fun. I'll see you around, Lupin." Axel and his werewolves ran into the forest. Remus looked at the entrance of the Forbidden Forest before shaking his head and walking back to Hogwarts.

At the front hall he was greeted by Fenrir. Remus smiled and went up to kiss him. "I love you, too," Remus said as they pulled back. Fenrir kissed him again. They broke apart when they heard a cough.

Remus turned to see Vishaka and Jasper standing their, grinning. "Come on lovebirds, time for a celebration."

Remus and Fenrir followed them into the Great Hall. Voldemort's body was taken to a chamber and Dumbledore's body was laid in a marble box at the side of the Hall. The four house tables were laid out and everyone was either laughing or crying.

Remus sees Lily with James and Sirius. She waves him over. The other werewolves follow him.

"I'm sorry," was the first thing Sirius said to him when Remus got to him. Remus blinked. Sirius continued. "I know I'm an ass and I know you'll never forgive me but I want to tell you I'm sorry and if it wasn't for you guys than we probably would have all died and Hogwarts would be destroyed." Sirius let out a deep breath. "Listen, Remus. Moony. I know things can't go back to the way the were but I was hoping we could try."

Remus smiled. "You're right. Things can never be the same again. But we can try to make up....Padfoot." Sirius beamed at him.

James threw his arms over their shoulders and pulled them in. "We really are sorry, Moony." Remus just smiled.

Fenrir, Vishaka, and Jasper smile at the sight. "Come on Remus. The full moon is going to rise," Vishaka said.

"I'll see you guys tomorrow," Remus said nodding at Sirius, James, and Lily. They smiled at him.

As the full moon hung in the sky, the people of Hogsmeade hear not a mourning howl of a lonely werewolf, but ajoyous howls of wolves set free.
