When the werewolves got to Malfoy Manor, they saw the knocked out bodies of the guards and heard the sound of a battle from inside. Remus put on his mask. He cannot risk anyone finding out about the fact that he joined the Death Eaters, even if they think that anyways. Its better to give them the benefit of doubt.

When Remus got inside, he was met with chaos. The Order was not messing around today. Remus cast a charm on his mask so that it would stay on and went to join the fight. He started dueling two Order members that were most likely new recruits, since Remus never saw them before. Remus sent a hex towards one of them. He saw another Death Eater hit someone with a killing curse. Said Death Eater then motioned to Remus to do the same.

Remus kept on dueling the two members but couldn't bring himself to kill them. They didn't do anything wrong. They didn't deserve to be killed. Remus joined the Death Eaters because he wanted revenge on his friends, not to kill innocents. He sent a stunner at one of them and watched them crumble to the ground. He sent a stinging hex to the other and left another Death Eater to deal with them.

As he ran through the thong of people fighting, Remus saw Vishaka fighting James. He then saw Hestia Jones come behind Vishaka. Before Remus realized what he was doing, he ran over and pulled Vishaka from the line of fire, which caused Hestia's spell to hit James who immediately fell to the grounds, screaming.

Vishaka looked at Remus in shock before ducking a stray stunner. "Why'd you do that?"

Remus grinned, even though he knew she couldn't see him, "We're in the same pack. We stick together. You're apart of me whether you like it or not." Remus ducked a spell shot his way and went back to the fight.

Suddenly, Order members started apparating out of the building. Before Remus could do anything, he was pulled by the arm by Fenrir who led him back to the other werewolves. "You-Know-Who is really mad." Fenrir said in a low voice.

"I figured. How come they didn't have any wards up and why did the Order suddenly leave?" Remus asked.

Fenrir shrugged. "Who cares. I came here to ask. Are you alright?"

Remus was taken aback. "W-what?"

Fenrir chuckled. "I asked are you alright?"

"Yeah-yeah. I'm fine. Just shaken. I just fought against the people I supported my entire life."

"Come on. Let's get back to the den. The Death Eaters are going to be 'talking' to prisoners."

When Remus and Fenrir made it back to the den, they saw Vishaka fussing over Jasper.

"What happened?" Fenrir said while taking a seat next to the window.

"This fucking idiot got hit by a hex and we don't know what it does." Vishaka replied without looking at Fenrir. Jasper rolled his eyes. "It made me fly to the other side of the room and pass out." Jasper grabbed Vishaka's hands and made her look at him. "Really Vish. I'm fine." They both stared at each other, clearly in their own little world. Remus looked away, feeling as if he was intruding.

Vishaka cleared her throat and broke eye contact. "Yeah-yeah. Ok. Whatever." She pulled her hands away from Jasper and turned around. Remus noticed the faint blush on her cheeks and smirked.

"Anyway. Remus. I never got to thank you properly for saving me from that curse, so- uh thank you." Vishaka said with a fleeting glance at Remus, before going back to the book Remus stole from the Order library.

"Can you stop looking through that book like its gonna help. The moonstone is not real." Fenrir said annoyed. Vishaka completely ignored him and kept on reading.

Remus's wand started growing warm. "Gotta go. Dumbledore is calling an emergency Order meeting, probably going to talk about what happened today."

Vishaka nodded and waved at him without looking up from her book. Jasper gave him a thumbs up before going to the fridge for some food. Fenrir smiled at him. Remus felt something in his chest and promptly ignored it.

Remus left the den with a smile. This was not a bad decision at all.
