Remus and Jasper walk through the forest of Dean quietly talking about Remus's life at Hogwarts. Currently, they were talking about the History of Magic teacher.
"So you had a ghost teach you history?" Jasper asked.
"Yeah, but he was extremely dull," Remus replied, smiling slightly.
"You had a ghost for a teacher. There is no way it was dull."
"Believe me, Professor Binns puts half the class to sleep within the first ten minutes. Only a handful of people in the entire school bother to stay awake and even fewer actually take notes."
"I bet you took notes."
"I did. I wanted to prove myself and not let Dumbledore down. But it wouldn't have mattered anyway. I never could have gotten a job."
"Who cares? Working sucks. We have-had the den. Where are we gonna stay now?"
Remus shrugged at Jasper's question. Suddenly they heard a twig snap. Remus and Jasper crouch down slightly and brought out the power of the moonstone to make their eyes glow, their teeth sharper, and their claws grow.
"Impressive," said a low voice.
"Show yourself," Jasper demanded.
"That is no way to talk to an alpha," the voice said. The owner came into the light. He had very pale skin, which contrasted with his dark hair and bright blue eyes. "You must be part of Fenrir's failure of a pack. Already got kicked out of your little den."
Remus retracted his claws and teeth. "We came here to make you a deal."
"I've heard of you before, Lupin. Dumbledore's pet turned Death Eater. Interesting. What do you have that I want?"
"Can I get the name of the person I name negotiating with?"
"You can call me Axel."
Remus nodded. "Well, we have the moonstone and don't say it's just a myth," Remus said cutting off Axel before he could deny the existence of the moonstone. "You saw what we did. We're willing to offer you a few necklaces that's powered by the moonstone. As long as you help us fight Voldemort."
"And who am I fighting Voldemort for?"
"Yourselves. Voldemort is a threat to everyone. Don't do it for the wizards. Do it because a psycho is killing innocents. Do it so we can show the wizarding world that we are not ones to be messed with."
"You make a valid point. Alright my pack and I will help. When do we need to come in?"
"Just hide out in the Forbidden Forest. You'll know when to attack." Remus threw the bag of necklaces to Axel. "Here's your power supply."
"Pleasure doing business with you, Lupin." With that Axel returned back into the shadows.
Jasper turned to Remus. "What was the point of me being here?"
Remus smiled at him. "To stand there and look pretty." He patted Jasper on the cheek before turning around and walking back.
