"Ugh! I give up" I slam my notebook and quill down on the table and drop my head in my hands. When I look up, I see madam Pince shushing me.
"And what do you give up on?" I look up to see Pansy setting her stuff down on the table and sitting across from me.
"I'm trying to write a letter to Narcissa but I have no idea what to write or how to start it in the first place." I groan.
"Ooh yeah, I'm not good at writing letters. I can hardly write my essays. Which I need to work on." Pansy pulls out some parchment and a quill and starts writing away.
"I'm just so bad at putting my thoughts onto paper. Like how am I supposed to say... Wait, I don't even know what I have to say. Bloody hell." I groan even louder, this time dropping my head onto the hard wooden table.
"How did talking with Draco go?" Pansy asks as she opens her textbook and skimmed over the pages.
"It actually went really well. He told me he isn't mad at me but he will never stop loving me even if I love Narcissa more than him. He told me he will be here for me no matter what." I smile, thinking back to our conversation.
"Well that's good. Why don't you write to Narcissa and tell her what you and Draco talked about and maybe ask to see her sometime this weekend?"
"Pansy. You're a genius and I love you for that." I get up and quickly grab my things. I kiss Pansy on the top of her head and head to my dorm room.

Narcissa,
Draco and I have talked. He told me he is not mad at me and he knows what you and I have. I also told him that I love you. And he understands that. I do think we should talk in person. We have many things to discuss and discussing them face to face may help.
Love,
Knightly.
Once I finish the letter, I go up to the owlery and find one of the school's owls to send it to Narcissa. I watch the grey barn owl fly away into the starry night sky and sit on the window sill. I watch the stars, some brighter than others and some more dull.
I think about my parents, how they may be up there. They may be stars, sitting close together and looking down. I wonder if they would be proud of me.
"I miss you guys. I wish you were still here." A tear escapes my eye and rolls down my cheek.
I hear footsteps coming from the dark stairway and wipe away my tears quickly. I look over to see Luna's bright blonde hair approach the window and I let my body relax and my pulse slow down.
"Oh, hello. I didn't expect anybody to be up here this late." She spoke in an ethereal tone that makes everything in life seem okay and calm.
"I just had to send out a letter. I can leave if you want." I start to get off the window sill when Luna speaks.
"Oh no, don't go. I like company." She smiles.
"Okay." I smile and sit back on the window sill pulling my knees close to my chest so luna has room to do the same.
"May I ask who you were talking to." She asks, looking up at the sky.
"Oh, just the stars. Sometimes I think that's what my parents are. Stars." I feel dumb saying it but Luna makes everything easy.
"I get it. I think my mother is a star. Well I know she's a star. Just sitting up there shining brightly. I come up here to talk to her as well. I love my dad but sometimes I just need my mom you know?" Her eyes are still locked on one star in the sky.
"I completely understand." I smile and look back up at the two stars sitting close together and let a tear fall yet again.
