I think I'm falling for you

Once we got to Hogsmeade, we went straight to the three broomsticks and got a table.

"I'm already starting to get a headache again. Blaise if this doesn't help, I will hex you." Pansy grunted, her head in her hands.

"Why me?" Blaise asks, looking from Pansy to me which makes me giggle.

"Because you said this would be the hair of the dog." She looks up and gives him a look as though she is throwing daggers at him.

"Well, I'm going to go get the drinks. Everybody wants butterbeer right?" Blaise stands up quickly, not making eye contact with Pansy at all.

"Get some fire whiskey as well. We can all take some shots." Draco yells as Blaise is already at the bar.

"You look beautiful." Draco looks me up and down and smiles when he meets my eyes which makes me blush.

"Oh Merlin, please be quiet before I throw up." Pansy moans, holding her head still not looking up from the wooden table.

I look at Draco and we both laugh before getting the same look Blaise got from Pansy.

Eventually, Blaise came back with four cups of butterbeer, a bottle of firewhiskey and some shot glasses.

"Okay, everybody get a shot glass and fill it up all the way to the top. Wait until everybody is done and we can take the shot together." Draco demands as he fills his shot glass up first and then fills mine.

"You're quite demanding aren't you." Blaise says as he gets the bottle from Pansy, still not looking at her.

Once all our glasses were filled to the top, we all downed it and began drinking.

We drank almost 5 cups of butterbeer and many many shots of firewhiskey until the bottle was completely gone. We were all very drunk. Pansy was feeling much better after her fourth shot of fire whiskey and second cup of butterbeer.

We stayed at the three broomsticks all day long but it only felt like a couple of hours. We all decided it was time to go back to the Manor when the sun disappeared and it was now almost 8:00 at night.

Once we stepped foot in the manor, Draco, Blaise, and Pansy all went to their rooms and passed out. I was too awake to sleep so I decided to wander around the garden.

Stumbling over dirt and my own foot, I fell into the one person I was dreading to forget. To avoid at all costs because I was scared I was going to realize something I didn't want to know.

"Oh Merlin, are you okay love?" Love, she called me love. It felt different when she said it. Draco calls me love all the time, but when it comes from her mouth, I can't help but melt. "You're drunk aren't you? Come on, let's go inside and I'll make you a cup of coffee." She intertwines her arm through mine and leads me back inside to the living room.

She leaves me alone, with the fire dancing in front of my eyes. Soon enough, she returns with a steaming cup of coffee that fills the room.

I take a small sip that burns my tongue "Thank you."

"No need to thank me." She sits beside me on the green couch that I spilled wine on. That felt like ages ago but it was only just a couple of days ago.

The room was now filled with silence. I was watching the fire and Narcissa was watching me, I felt her eyes on me. And so, I turn to face her. Taking another sip of coffee, I reach and put it onto the table.

"Look,"

"Narcissa."

We both talk at the same time. "Sorry, you go first." I smile awkwardly, looking down.

"I'm sorry. Last night was... a mistake." It felt like my heart shattered. I suddenly forgot to breathe and tears were rushing to my eyes. I look away from her and put my gaze on the fire. "I don't know what got into me. I just saw you and you just looked breathtaking and I guess I just lost myself." She takes a deep breath in as I look at her, tears filling my eyes and soon, one escapes.

"I get it." I say, not bothering to wipe the stray tear away.

"You're dating my son Knightly. And I am married to Lucius. You are still so young; if anybody found out about this, I would probably go to Azkaban. Yes, it was an amazing night together but it was only one night. It won't happen ag-" I cut her off

"I think I'm falling for you." I blurt out, not caring what she has to say. "I have been beating myself up over this, saying it was a drunken mistake, that you're my boyfriend's mom and there is nothing between us. But we both know that is a lie. We both know that there is something between us." Suddenly, the tears stopped. I was looking at her in those honey brown eyes I completely and utterly adore.

"We can't Knightly." She now had tears in her eyes but before they could fall, she got up fast and disappeared into the darkness of the hallways.
