"Is everything okay?" Blaise asks, everybody's eyes on us.

"Actually, we wanted to talk to you about that," Draco looks at me for approval in which I nod yes. "We are no longer together."

It was as though everybody's breathing had stopped. Draco and I had been together since our fourth year, we've been through so much together. It was going to be weird not kissing and cuddling every time we saw each other. People were so used to that, to us.

"Wow." Blaise exhales. "So, Knightly, since you're single..." He gets up from his seat only to sit back down.

"Do not even think about it Blaise, she may not be mine anymore but I'm not letting you have her and then hurt her like you do with every girl that crosses your path." Draco gives Blaise an almost death stair in which he backs down and smiles.

"I was just kidding mate, she isn't my type anyways." He laughs and then Pansy hits him on his bicep and turns to us.

"Are you guys okay though? Like is everything okay? Are we all still going to be friends? You guys don't hate each other do you?" Her eyes and voice are filled with worry and I can tell she has many more questions to ask but she decides to stop herself.

"Yes, we are okay, everything is okay. We are all still going to be friends, nothing is going to change other than the fact that you guys won't have to see us kiss all of the time. We also don't hate each other, it was a mutual kind of breakup." I smile as I walk over to the kitchen table and steal a few grapes and pop them into my mouth.

"Okay good." Pansy lets out a long breath and pops a grape in her mouth as well.

I look over at Narcissa, her honey brown eyes meeting my grey ones. She almost looks relieved, with a sparkle in her eye but I push that thought away and focus elsewhere.

After a very filling dinner, I decide to head to my room a little early and continue reading "The Great Gatsby" in bed.

Realizing that it is now pitch black outside and I'm already halfway through the book, I look up to see that it is 2:00 in the morning. I grab my pack of cigarettes and head downstairs to the garden only to see Narcissa standing by the moon flowers, twirling one between her fingers as I did the night of our first kiss.

"I see I'm not the only one up." I spoke softly, putting a cigarette between my lips and lighting it with a match. I take a deep breath in and let it sit in my lungs until I feel almost dizzy and cough out the smoke.

"You smoke?" She asks, not bothering to look up from the flower in between her fingers.

"Nope, but I figured I'd try it." I make out while having a coughing fit. "I always thought it made people look so cool doing it."  I take another deep breath in and try not to cough as I exhale.

Narcissa finally looks up at me with those eyes that I adore and I offer her my cigarette in which she takes it and puts it between her cherry red lips. That would be the closest we've gotten to kissing in the past two days.

I watch as she blows out a large cloud of smoke easily, with no coughing. "So, you and Draco broke up?" She asks, handing back the cigarette she just had her lips on.

"Yes, we did." I inhale more smoke, this time letting it out with no cough.

"Do you mind if I ask why?" She doesn't bother looking at me.

"We just thought it would be better to stay friends." I reply, taking another drag from the cigarette.

"I see." she mumbled, letting the moonflower fall from her hands. "And is there any other reason?" She now meets my eyes, slightly towering over me. She's now close enough to the point where I can feel her warm breath on my cheeks.

She takes the cigarette from in between my lips and puts it between hers.

"I don't think there is." I know what game she's playing, I know she wants me to break and say she's the reason but I'm not going to give her that satisfaction. I watch as she takes a long drag and exhales smoke right into my face.

"I think you're lying." She's now inches away from my face, a couple more steps and our lips would meet. "And lying can get you into some serious trouble, you know." She looks at me in my eyes, knowing that I'm lying.

"Trouble can be fun." This time, I step closer to her. I take the cigarette that's between her lips and place it between mine. She watches as I take a long inhale then blow smoke in her face.

I step closer to her one more time, closing the space between us. "But, trouble can also be quite dangerous if you know what will happen." I take one more drag from the cigarette then place it between Narcissa's slightly parted lips. "Goodnight, Narcissa."

As I walk back to my room, I feel confident; almost powerful.
