I woke to the smell of bacon and pancakes coming from the kitchen.

"Oh how I love you." I thought as I draped my deep green robe over my body and walked out of my bedroom to be met with a stronger smell of bacon and pancakes, as well as freshly brewed coffee.

I made my way down the creaky wooden steps, through the living room and into the kitchen to see Narcissa wearing a sweater of mine with nothing but underwear on and her hair draped over her back as she flipped a pancake and it landed perfectly on the pan.

I smile to myself and make my way to her, trying to be very quiet so she doesn't hear her. And once I get close enough, I wrap my arms around Narcissa's waist and rest my chin on her shoulder.

"Good morning my love." Narcissa smiles and rests her cheek on top of my head as I gently kiss her neck.

"It smells amazing." I say as I walk over to the cup of steaming tea that rests on the counter and take a sip.

Earl Grey, my favorite.

We both eat breakfast together out on our back porch, listening to the birds singing to each other and feeling the warm early morning sun shine down on us.

We finally have our own place now. A quaint little cottage in the countryside. The front yard is filled with flowers and bright green grass, and the back overlooks a beautiful field full of wildflowers.

As we eat our breakfast, I see our cat, Flora, run around in the green grass chasing bumblebees and butterflies. Her fluffy white hair bouncing up and down with each step she takes. That is, until she gets too tired and slowly makes her way to the wooden porch and rests at Narcissa's feet.

And when I look down, I see the sun getting caught on the ring that lays on my left ring finger. It wasn't a ring with a big diamond that takes up the entire finger, it was a small, rusted gold band with a moonflower in the middle with a tiny diamond in the center of it.

Narcissa and I were only just engaged, she asked about a year ago when we just moved into our house. Boxes were everywhere and I was a bit stressed out with the moving and getting used to such a big change. But that night, Narcissa surprised me with dinner on our porch under the pale moonlight.

The night of the engagement

When both our plates were now empty and we were sitting, our glasses of our favorite red wine rest in our hands, I look up to the moonlight and see a shooting star.

"Honey, It's a shooting star! Look!" I point up and both our heads watch as the bright star flys across the sky.

"I wish to have a happily ever after with Narcissa. Just like in the muggle movies and books." I think to myself as I close my eyes.

When I open them, I turn to see Narcissa watching me, the stars shining bright in her honey brown eyes and a smile that sends butterflies in my stomach.

"I have something to tell you."

"And what is that?" I begin to feel my heart race and my hands begin to sweat as I think over everything she could possibly tell me. My mind begins to wander and the wine in my cup sloshes around as my hands shake.

"Hey, I promise it's nothing bad okay?" Narcissa sets my glass down and holds my hands. "Follow me." I stand up with her and we both walk into the field of wildflowers, our dresses getting caught on the tall grass. "Knightley, the first time I met you, I never thought any of this would happen. I never thought that I would fall in love with the girl who was dating my son."
