Chapter 5

Zero's POV

I tied to hold it back but she left me no choice but that's the problem with being a vampire you are left with no choice.

She started freaking out i grabbed her and sunk my fangs into her hand. When i finally stopped it looked like i'd killed her but she was still breathing.

My vampire self had gone back away and now i was just holding Emma in my arms while on the ground.

Kaname had spotted me and walked over "couldn't help youself could you? He asked i looked up and shot him a 'i didn't mean to' look.

Kaname picked Emma up out of my hands. He looked at her and started to walk away, i felt bad for what i did. I hoped that Emma would forgive me for this.

It had been a few days since the accident happened and Emma still hadn't woken up i saw Sarah and Kaname walk in and out occasionally.

A few more days passed and i finally got word that Emma was wake. I ran down the hall to the infermery where Emma was in.

I got to the door and looked in then Emma saw me and backed up to the wall her eyes never leaving mine.

"Emma, i can explain" i said as gently as i could. "Ok then explain" she said as calmly as she could.

"It was last year when i found out, my mum has assured me that if i controlled it, it wouldn't be a problem" i explained to Emma aboug my vampire side.

"So you had no option to 'feed' on me? She asked slightly uncomfortable "yeah i guess".

"Zero what were you thinking you could have wiped her memory instead of telling her everything" Kaname yelled at me, "it wasn't your decision and anyway it would only hurt her more" i was starting to get really upset now.

All my life i had known Kaname and he wasn't one to judge people of their actions but this time i knew why he broke that rule. Emma knocked on the door i gave a 'come in' as a response.

"So is Kaname like you Zero" she asked Kaname just stared at me but then spoke "yes" he mumbled.

It would be a few days until Emma realizes that she's a vampire herself but when she does maybe... maybe then can we be together forever.
