Chapter 12

Zero's POV

I was thinking about the other week, maybe this thing with me and Emma wasn't a good idea. I have an illness that may potentially kill me one day and now Ryan is trying to kill me for his brother, i just don't know anymore.

The days go by so quickly, it was already mid year. I was looking at the floor in a deep thinking moment, i was quickly snapped out though by bumping into someone, i looked around then down only to see Emma on the floor in the hall.

"Ow" she groaned "you have a thing with falling over in this hall" i laughed while taking her hand and helping her up, "more like being knocked over" she said with a smirk while rubbing her head "then maybe you should take more notice on where your walking" i gave her a playful wink, she just laughed sarcasticly and shoved me with her hands.

We talked and laughed while looking for our friends. Kaname spotted me, he waved me over with his hand i took the hint "you go find Sarah i got to do something" i said to Emma she gave a smile and said "ok" then walked away to find Sarah.

I started to walk over to Kanane who was pacing nervously "what's up" i asked hoping he wasn't having a nervous breakdown. "I want to tell Sarah everything and i mean EVERYTHING i wouldn't metion you or Emma only me" what he said was so unlike him, he knows how important it is that the less people that know is better.

"Kaname I'm sorry but you can't" i tried to be gentle with this, his face began to change with anger "WHY NOT you got to tell Emma everything, so why can't i!" He yelled the anger radiating through his body showing through his actions, if he got any angrier the vampire would show.

"Kaname that was my fault and she was already on to me, i had to tell her" i saw him calm a bit so i continued "I'm not stopping you telling her but its your fault if she completely un-friends you" i stated his anger softened, a sigh came from him "will you ditch me if i tell her?" I was shocked by what he just asked "i would never do that" i stated he looked at me then said "promise" i put my hands on his shoulders and said "i promise".

Later that week it was announced that all students of Red Moon High were having a talk with a former student, the bell rang signaling us to put our books away and head to the great hall. Me and Kaname walked over, him wearing his white and red long sleeved shirt and long pants and me wearing my black and white long outfit.

"Did you tell Sarah yet?" I asked wondering if he had "no I'm planning to though but i'll only mention me" he whispered looking down at the ground while he walked, "Kaname there is no point in lying to her once you've told her, she smarter than that" he looked up a smile forming on his face, he put his hand on my shoulder and turned to look at me "thanjs man, you are excellent at advice".

All the students assembled in the great hall,in front of the polished wooden stage was thousands of silver chairs sitting on polished wooden floors. I took my seat near the front next to Kaname and Emma, Sarah however was sitting next to Kaname.

He headmaster walked to the front of the stage, leaned into the microphone "ok everyone settle down please" everyone stopped talking and sat still "thank you, i hope you will pay attention to our speaker questions at the end please" the headmaster walked off the stage and sat in a chair close by.

This man that walked onto the stage looked about 19 maybe but looked surprisingly a lot like Ryan. "Hello everyone my name is Scott, most of you might know me already but I'm here to talk about depression, a few years ago my identical twin brother Ryan left home, after he left i started to go into depression it was only recently that i came out" he paused for a moment.

I couldn't believe it though, Ryan has a twin brother and he just talked to us. It was lunch break, i was sitting at a wodden table outside, Emma was sitting next to me, we were watching Kaname and Sarah talk, sounds a bit creepy i know but there is a good reason for this.

"Did he tell her yet?" Emma asked as i listen in "nop, not yet although it looks like its going to be soon". We watched a bit longer in awkward silence, then Kaname and Sarah hugged, Sarah walked off and Kaname came to us with a huge smile on his face.

He sat down on the opposite side of the table not saying a word. "So... what happened?" Emma asked arching an eyebrow with her arms crossed on the table. "Um... i told her, only about me though i didn't involve you guys in it and she's cool with it she kinda guessed something was going on because she saw us leave every 3rd night" he finally finished.

I was sitting in the libary thinking about random stuff. I nearly jumped out if my skin when someone tapped me on my shoulder. I turned around to see Sarah standing behind me.

"Sorry i didn't mean to scare you Zero" she said sadly.

I was confused "Sarah why do you sound so sad?" I asked she sighed, she's never been sad even when her cat died see managed to put a positive side to it. "Kaname told me everything and well its like i don't know him anymore" should i tell her.

"Sarah trust me he's still the same person he's just a bit different to everyone else" i said i hope she doesn't ask what i think she'll ask. "How do you know that he's the same" i sighed "i didn't want to tell you this but i have to now I'm the same as Kaname".

~I'm running as fast as i can, i see a shadowy figure standing still 'hello?" No answer from the figure, all of the sudden a second figure stepped forward into the light. I recognised the face the hair i was my father, the same one who died 2 years ago.

"Dad" i said in shock of seeing my dad again, "yes Zero its me you've grown so much since i saw you last, look Grace he's going to cry" my dad said the other figure stepped into the light and i knew who it was instantly my mum i ran and fung my arms around her i a tight hug she hugged back but then pulled away and put her hands on my shoulders to i was facing her.

"Don't cry Zero baby you've been strong much stronger than me" she paused "there is a lot you don't know and one bit that we think your ready to know is that your father didn't die of the illness i died from he died..." just like that they faded away leaving me with un-answered questions.

I woke with a start "no" i breathed she they were trying to tell me something they were reaching out to me for a reason but there was no answers that came to my mind. I checked the time 8:00am on a Saturday great no sleep in much, i let out a yawn and fell back asleep hoping to go back to my parents.

As it turned out i never dreamed of my parents again, "Emma... you... will... never believe... what i... just learnt" i said trying to catch my breath i had ran from my room down to the lab were i knew Emma was going to be. "Zero i know sleeping is fun but do you really jump up and down after you sleep" she said in a joking voice.

I had such weird news i completely ignored what she said and continued "during a dream last night i saw my parents it seemed like they were trying to tell me something but i can't figure out what" she just stared at me with her face just speechless "well... do you know what they were telling you" she asked i sighed and shook my head "no i dint but i have a feeling its important" we both sat in silence no saying a word.
