The moment

Hey guys sorry its been a while i have had writers block for the past 3-4 days so yeah don't worry the POV won't change mid chapter i apologize for that when i was writting that section i had some friend problems that needed sorting so yeah here is chapter 7.

Emma's POV

I felt sorry for Zero he wouldn't be able to go home for the first time in his life. When the bus pulled up at my house for the first time i would have to lie to my dad. I got off the bus and entered my house.

When i got inside i expected my dad to be standing there with a huge smile, instead he was sittiing on the couch. "Hey dad I'm home" i said my voice uneasy "hey sweetie" my dad stood up, walked over to me and gave me a hug.

Over dinner my dad looked like he was going to explode and not because he ate to much. When we got home my dad turned me around "i got you a present its in the living room" my dad said with a grin.

I walked into my living room and on the carpet infront of the TV was a small box. I sat down on the carpet "oh and don't tip it" my dad shot me a look that i had never seen. So carefully i unwraped my gift, i opened the lid and what i saw made my heart melt. Inside the box was a little 6 week old dalmation puppy it was the cutest thing i had ever seen in my whole life.

A day had passed since i got home and i had decided to name my dog Lilly, (a female of course) i spent the afternoons texting Zero to see how he was holding up. I sent him a photo of my dad me and my puppy sitting on the couch together.

I enjoyed the country lifestyle so much there is so much to do. I enjoyed rounding up the cattle on horse back with my dad, suddenly i had a thought.

Sent to Zero: hey what happens if i need to feed on blood.

Received from Zero: well it depends on where you are if your somewhere were you can hunt animals i'd suggest them. I couldn't hunt my cattle or horses.

Sent to Zero: I'm at my house in the country and i have cows and horses but i can't kill them i love them and then my dad would get suspicious.

Received from Zero: its a risk you'll have tp take and i hate it too i wish we had a choice but we don't.

I left it there and just sat down on a wooden bench that my father had built for me when i was little. I watched the cattle and horses pass by. There was some calves and foals one foal in particular would come up to you and let you pat it. Then i heard a little bark i turned around and saw Lilly running towards me, my dad following close behind.

"I thought you would be here" my father said as he took a seat next to me. Lilly was playing chase with one of the foals in the herd.

The night time rose and i was feeling a bit hungry, this was the thing that i had been dreading i had to go out and kill a cow. When i snuck out of the house un-noticed i walked down to where the cows rested i looked through the massive herd. I saw a young male juvenile he was on the outside of the herd so i went for him.

I stalked up to him, when i was close enough i pounced. The younge male made a little struggled call as i drank the blood from his body. I kept going until he was dead, i sighed, said a soft sorry to him and went back up to my house to go to bed.

I woke up to see that my dad had already gone out to see the cattle. When he came back i could instantly see the sadness in his face. I walked out of the house and over to him "dad what's wrong?" i already knew the answer to this question.

"One of the male juvenile calves got killed last night" dad sighed shaking his head "do you know what killed him?" I asked beating myself up inside. "No i don't" he stated simply, we both sat there in complete silence.

Hey everyone just to let you know i couldn't post this chapter as soon as i finished it cuz there was a massive cyclone if you live in rockhampton you would know all about it. By the way there might be more mid chapter POV changes cuz i want to make it interesting.
