Hey guys i can't believe how many people are reading my book thx to you all. I couldn't update the last chapter for a while cuz there was a cyclone at my house and it turned my power off and the intetwebs so yeah enjoy guys.

Chapter 8

Zero's POV

During the long weekend she worried so much about her secret. Tomorrow everyone is comming back to Red Moon high. The forest that surrounded the school had all types wildlife from bunnies to elk.

I hadn't told Kaname about my illness yet, maybe i can fight it. Although that's what my mother did and look where that got her. Ever since i turned 16 i've wanted to be normal, and not have this violent side of me. None of the normal students know about us either.

Everyone is comming back today, after being alone with just Kaname I'm really looking forward to seeing other people. It looked like Emma had fun over the weekend, i saw the photo of her dad, her and her new puppy, i just hope that she fed over the days.

The first bus of kids, Kaname and me stood with the headmaster watching all the kids come off the bus. Some students gave me and Kaname confused stares. The last of the kids off the first bus was starting to come out then we saw Sarah walk out.

Second bus, then the third bus came and one of the first people out was Emma, closely followed by... her puppy. Emma saw Sarah Kaname and me, she ran over to us and gave us all a hug.

Her puppy was very cute, it had one black ear, a black patch around its right eye and only a few spots on its body. "Hey guys i missed you so much" Emma didn't realize her dog had followed her i think.

"Hey Emma, did you notice that your dog followed you?" I asked unsure if she knew. " Yeah i asked the headmaster he said it was ok" she looked back at her puppy, it was wagging its tail with its tongue hanging out the side.

All the students were in the great hall, the headmaster had called a meeting. "Welcome back everyone, i hope you had a wonderful weekend" he continued "i must let you know that Red Moon high will be under high security" everyone was so confused but i know whats going on.

We were all dismissed, everyone was going to different places. Someone tapped me on the shoulder, i stopped turned around only to find Emma standing behind me.

"I have a feeling you know what's going on" she questioned me staring at my face.

I just ran outside, i didn't want to tell her the truth it would break her heart.

Emma's POV

Why does he always run, I'm done letting him run off all the time. I ran after him, he seems to not realize i can run as fast as him now with my vampire abilities.

I saw him turn out of the school into the forest, it was hard to see him through all the trees but his white hair stood out like yellow against black.

Getting closer, getting closer, i was in range now i made a long shot. I jumped, i landed on Zero and tackled him to the grass. I turned him around so he was facing me, he was trying to get away from me but i was pretty strong now.

"Zero tell me what's going on!" I yelled at him "you honestly don't want to know" he said as if this was nothing. "Look at me" i said he looked at my eyes "i need to know, if it involves you or any of my friends i need to know" i had a softer tone this time.

He looked at me his violent eyes looking straight into my blue ones. Suddenly i was launched into the air comming into contact with the grass myself, Zero ran further into the forest.

I immediately got up and ran after him, "Zero you can't run from me forever" i yelled at the top of my voice. I came to a clearing in the forest, a loud thump came from beside me. Zero was on the grass, i looked up amd saw a branch on the tree next to him had snapped, that stupid idiot.

I walked up to him, "Zero please" i practically pleaded. He sighed i sat down next to him "the school is on high security because of me" he continued "only some vampires get these powers, these powers are rare, so many other vampires kill the person with the power because if a vampire kills another one with powers the power is transferred into them".

I couldn't believe it, i mean really "so are you afraid?" I asked he looked at the moon through the opening "i have no reason to be" what is he for real "you know you don't seem to have any fears Zero" i stated "everyone has something their afraid of, you just have to find something that overpowers that fear". "You found that something?" I asked again why must he be so mysterious "yeah i have".
