A day with the girls

Lena's: POV
The girls and I are up bright and early
This morning. Today where going to the barbie spa, so Channing and Amar'e are getting their nails and toes
Done, since I had mine already done
Last week. With kelly. I'm still convinced, that kelly and jenna came into some money out of the blue
Because Give me twelve hundred dollars. Towards channing and Amar'e's dresses, she owes me four thousand dollars more. After we ate a heart healthy breakfast, we left to get our day started. Amar'e' sat in the front seat,while Channing sat in the back seat
As we got onto the express way. I turned on the radio so we could listen to some music, there was a forty minute ride to the kids day spa. I believe Channing and Amar'e are gonna enjoy this place
I can't stop thinking about the kiss Stef and l shared last night
I had to pitch. Myself to see if l was dreaming.the concert last night, was excellent. One about living in L.A. the traffic is crazy
Back in Jacksonville Florida it's less hectic. We pulled into parking lot of the Barbie day spa, the expression on Channing's and Amar'e's was priceless. I wish l would brought my camera to capture this moment, l haven't told them that l hired a photographer for their birthday party. Mommy l gave Stef an invitation to my party is it ok that she comes please mommy channing begs. Calm baby yes Stef can come, Lena says to her daughter. isn't cool Amar'e Channing asks her younger sister
Yeah where going to have a blast Channing. Amar'e responds back to Channing, the three of us exit the car and head inside the spa
The girls go take their seats while l sign them in at the front desk
I look on the wall at the list of services they offer. I wrote down. On the sheet what kind of package l wanted for Channing and Amar'e to receive, they were to young for massages
So their getting the pedicure and medicure with the foot massage
Before l schedule their next appointment. I'm gonna see if they do a good job first, there's a beauty supply store next store
The lady called Channing and Amar'e up. They both got up and followed the girl to the back, l decided to stay until they were finished. I called Stef to see if she was free, l dialed her number

Lena: hi honey were you busy. The girls and l are out at the kid spa, l was calling to see if you were free.

Stef: hey love no l'm not busy
I was just doing my normal Saturday morning chores
Rearranging my closet and cleaning up Frankie's room
Trying to sort out all her old clothes she can't wear anymore
I really need to go to the mall and get her spring and summer
Wardrobe together.

Lena: Channing told me she gave you an invitation to her birthday party in two weeks. Once we leave the spa where probably head to the beauty supply next store, l need get some shampoo and conditioner for my hair cause the girls used all mine up
I'm gonna have to buy them their own.

Stef: l know what you mean. Just the other day Francesca empty out all my my favorite bubble bath l brought from bath and body works,

Lena:that's my favorite store too
What kind of bubble bath do you like
Mines is black pearl, true romance and sweet pea
I have the body wash and the body splash.

Stef: l thought l was the only that like their products
How long do you think you'll be. Frankie's staying an extra
Night at my mother's, there going to the zoo tomorrow
So l'll be home alone again tonight.

Lena: you don't have to be home alone
I can come over and keep you company and bring a bottle of wine
We can watch a movie, we could finish where we left off last night

Stef: that does sound temping but my brother will be here
How about next weekend. We go away just the two of us
I can meet you and the girls at the mall in an half in hour
And we all can have lunch together,

Lena: we can do that instead.
I didn't know you had a brother, l don't think l can trust myself
Around you right now. Meet us at the mall in about an hour
Or so.
