It feels good to be out of the operating room. Every Since I arrived this morning, l've been busy non stop
I proformed six surgeries back to back
I couldn't take another minute being in my office charting. I needed some fresh air, it's a lot warmer than it was earlier. The sunny was shining bright
Stef texted me and said she was on her way, l also forgot about we had made plans to meet up for lunch today. Being a pediatric surgeon is hard work, at times l'm called in the middle of the night. Balancing being a single mom, a doctor is a full time job

For years it's just been me and my daughter's. Everything l do is my girls
I took a seat on the bench, taking a deep breath. I rest my head in my hands, the last thing I want is for people to see me fall apart. I am looking forward to my vacation

It can be a little bit overwhelming at times, but l'm here to listen not judge
